  • Lure angler should learn plenty from this video about colors, fish attention to weights, rigs etc.
Key take from this underwater footage for me was that Perch can be more difficult to catch than I was thinking. Often they were ignoring my lures or my moves and presentation.
Another informative and quality video from Andrew's Knots.

Just a big thanks to Andrew who inspired me to to try drop shotting for perch...My first outing was a blank, mostly down to the weather I suspect, but my second 90 minute session in the same area resulted in 6 perch! I am chuffed to bits to say the least!

This is great. I find it really helps to see how lures move in the water. Id be interested to know what camera set up you were using if your happy to share?

Cracking video buddy. Just goes to show sometimes fish can be very easy. As soon as you move it or make a sudden change the Fish are on it. then sometimes they will just mess around just & ain’t bothered One bit !! Great footage and gives us more of an insight Of what’s going on down there !! Hopefully this helps us catch more fish !! Would’ve been great seeing that eel take your lure .. especially if it started reversing & going back in that pipe !! 👍🏽👍🏽😀😀🎣🎣

Great footage, keep it up. What was the average size of those perch?
Regarding the attacks on the lead, I made the same experience on fishing a carolins rig. I got more attacks on the bullet weight than on my lure

Difficult to tell, as most of them swam away hookless. But they were small.

If you look closly you can see in the shot that it wasn't snake, it was small eel 😳

Great video and thank you for the work!!! ❤ One thing happened to me it was when I’ve seen a sudden drop in activity- I’ve fished with a jig and another hook on the like just like The dropshot. I got nothing on the jig, but I got a lot on empty hook! Why, I don’t really know why 🤷‍♂️, but it worked for me

I always try to keep my lead on the ground by keeping the distance between the lure and the lead about 14inch and give the line some slack so only the lure jumps up and down.
