Congrats for successful completion of the project. Can you suggest where I can get the wires after market for mirror connections. Instead of making it at home. I have 2017 base model. Information and suggestion will be helpful.

The harness is not available anywhere. It needs to be done as a DIY. Probably thats why nobody has ever attempted this so far.
But making this isn't a difficult job at all. You sure can do it. Good luck.

Why you not made it power fold?
May be one button should also be added to make the electronic foldable mirror...like u can fold unfold mirror by just one button...
One question. Why you haven’t use a fuse between connections. Is it safe without fuse ?
Good point. As you see, I am drawing power from window and blinker points, these already have fuses in the fuse box so in way fuse is there. I guess that will do the job.

If your vehicle has motorized mirrors now, new mod will be slightly easy, else you have to make wire harness in your own. Please check my part 1 and 2 videos as well to see how to make wire harness.

wire connected to mirror switch
From the power window connector, red is main positive and black is negative.
