  • Experimenting with resin and using different materials can give mixed results. I often try things, as you have seen and they haven't worked. These Resin Experiment results have shocked me. The results have come out way beyond what I had hoped for. These have already proved popular and I am now making more of these to sell.

SO PURITY!!! The first one you did is my favorite.... And, you gave me a GREAT idea for some ring molds I have. Didn't like them because they made the band of the rings to thin!! I'm going to try some cording in them.... Hopefully that will fix the problem.
I have found that if I coat the inside of molds that seem to trap bubbles I don't get many gaps. Just enough to fully coat, then fill as I want. I don't cure the coat, just try to stop the bubbles from being on the outside. Letting it all cure together.
Stay safe, you do you, & stay creatively crafty.👍👍🔔🔔🦋🦋

To Steve: I don’t know if you’ll see this but I want to Thank you.
I dabble with resin on some of my projects and I have been having a heck of a time with uv resin. I had been using some China and Walmart brands. I notice other crafters on RUclips sometimes comment good things about you and I’ve been watching for awhile, so your opinions must hold some weight. You always say j diction is the best for you. I’ve watched many of experiments and after watching the one where you compared the different kinds and showed the yellowing I broke down and bought the j diction THANK YOU. I should’ve just got this from the beginning because it’s a dream compared to the others I’ve been using. Thanks again!

I'm kind of messy with my resin so I wear arm guards. Plus last night I put some cheap food service gloves over my nice blue gloves. I used a hairband to help hold them on.
It was nice because when my gloves got to sticky I was able to just remove the outer gloves & put new on. Made it much easier to add details to things.
Now I just need to order a waterproof apron off of TEMU to protect my pants.
Yes I dropped a drop on my leggings.

Hi Steve my fav was the same one you liked best with the nail polish and glitter in. I tried something similar few years back with some gold, silver and glitter threads. Saying a certain type of resin is the best isn't true and you shouldn't say that. Different resins work best for different uses and for different people. I can't use teexpert resin as it causes puss filled blisters if I get it on my skin. Jdiction resin has failed on me for Petri dish style art. But then your sponsored by jdiction so your going to be bias 🤷. Love done of these but not my thing but in solid piece's that later are shaped by a lathe and finished with a thin layer of resin top coat would look good 😉👌
