- It is surprising how some of the most simple techniques can give you the awesome results that look as is they would be difficult to make. I personally can't believe how simple and amazing this technique is, and it is one of the techniques I am asked the most about how to do. IU also test out an electric resin mixer to see if it works and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it mixed the resin and the lack of bubbles in the final mixed resin. That shade of blue with the tiny sparkly bits is absolutely stunning, especially with how the white ble ds with it. I need to make something rainbow coloured with this technique for the summer. 💗
I had one of my grandmother's old moonshine jug lamps that I wanted to fill with something. I set it on an angle and added blue and pink aquarium rocks (the big kind) in layers. I was so thrilled with how it came out. They are in there without anything to hold them in place, but they have kept that look all these years. Thank you for doing this. I love it when someone does something interesting and different with resin.

What a great tip! Thank you for sharing your ideas. I’m very new to resin and haven’t figured out which one I need for what items. I have learned that if the UV light can’t get to the bottom of the mold, it won’t cure😢. Still working out issues.
That's a great idea!!! The 1 time I did a split color I used uv resin to separate the colors. Needless to say it was horrid

This looks like a decent mixer! I've tried 3 of them so far, first one wouldn't charge, 2nd one wouldn't turn on right out of the box, 3rd one has worked so far. The only other thing I don't like about the one I have is I have to hold the button, which is difficult with arthritic hands. Love the rice idea! Thanks so much for sharing things that you've learned!
Hi Steve. While I'm watching this, it just dawned on me when you said that you don't want the rice to get into your project. You've done a lot of experiments puting things in resin; have you ever thought about rice? I'd even like to see colored rice in a resin project; like when you painted macaroni; just a thought.

I love your channel :) I hope my question is okay here. I bought the JDiction resin because I saw it on your video, my crafting room is under renovation so I was trilled to see a non toxic resin. But I'm not sure, I normally use mask and gloves and will also with this resin. But because of the renovation of my crafting room I would like to work in the normal living area. Do you think this is ok with the non toxic resin? I don't wanna harm my husband or my pets ( There are no pets in the room I will do this but it is still in the living area.) Thanks in advance and I wish everybody a lovely christmas :)
