Great overview of our beautiful state! Richmond Historic Town is another great day out in Hobart - close the the airport so you can go on the way in or out. Also a lovely walk around Battery Point (behind Salamanca Market) is worthwhile. You will feel as if you are in England with all the lovely architecture.
Lots of good information. Just some comments on pronunciation as this sounds computerised: we do not pronounce Launceston as the Brits do. It is pronounced 'Lonceston', with an 'o' sound as in 'on'. Likewise, Tasmania shortened sounds like 'Tazzie' not 'Tassie' with a soft 's'. For American viewers, pleased do not call us Aussies with a soft 's' either - it drives us crazy! It is pronounced Auzzie. Tasman Peninsula is pronounced 'Tazz-min' (said quickly). Russell Falls is particularly spectacular in the winter and spring when the snow melts.
I wouldn’t bother with Cradle Mountain sadly. It’s only visible 90days per year. Roads to CM are bad. And most sadly is over run with busses of tourists. You can’t drive in anymore HAVE to catch a bus for 20 mins each way!Steer clear go to somewhere more picturesque like Stanley. MONA is a must! Get the boat from Hobart, a great experience.
Depends on what time you get to Cradle Mountain as to being able to drive in there or not. There are lots of buses, and when they are running, you can't drive in, before, or after the bus service, you can drive in, and when you are ready to drive out , YOU FOLLOW A BUS so they can let other buses know you are coming. This is for the safety of the bus passengers.... cause there are some terrible tourist drivers. The roads to Cradle are perfectly fine (where do you come from?) Show me a straight road that climbs mountains or goes down into deep gorges and back up the other side. And might I ask if you stayed there for a year to count those 90 days.... and might those 90 days vary from year to year? More "picturesque" ...... that ain't gonna happen at Stanley. Stanley is a lovely place to visit, but you got that wrong. Did you even bother to look at what other attractions are on the CM road.... the number of waterfalls (that incidentally look better when or after it rains) So I take it, you live locally as you refer to "being over run with BUSES of tourists" were you not a tourist? Hmmmmmmm I notice you made no reference to the road going to Mt Wellington, considerably more dangerous, but safe enough if you drive carefully, or the number of days that you can see the top of Mt Wellington, or how many days it is simply closed due to snow or ice.
We stayed 1 night in St Helens, it was a nice town. I enjoyed my early morning walk around the shore. We shopped at the supermarket, really yummy fruits & food, especially cherry, I found it was cheaper & nicer than Hobart at that time. We had a lunch picnic by the beach, very nice.
We will go on a cruise to New Zealand, Sydney, Tasmania, Melbourne, Australia next January 2025, thank you for sharing this video - Keep up the great work my Friends and come watch the full video - May you always be successful, healthy and happy, thank you for your support.... 💚👍🏿🙏🏿
Isn't Tasmania the place where the indigenous inhabitants were completely exterminated by being thrown over cliffs, and their land and homes were subsequently taken after their men, women, and children were brutally wiped out?
Tasmanian people are jealous of Sydney. Seriously, there is nothing in Tasmania but beautiful nature and non-stop cold most of the year. If someone die, nobody knows for days. If you hayfever it will never go away and eating icecream is hard since it's so cold.
Jealous of Sydney? You've got to be kidding. I've lived in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Townsville, Hobart and visited Canberra, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast, Launceston and Melbourne. And Sydney is by far the last place in Australia I would live
Maybe a title name change.... Tasmania Australia Travel Guide : SOME OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. Thank you for showcasing our state, but so many things wrong with this video... and that AI voice translator OMG Such bad advice on your itinerary. Your time frames are SO VERY WRONG, and you missed out so much (example is Port Arthur... what about the second convict site on the other side of the peninsula? Just as historically important as the main penal settlement) You can do those some of those drives in that timeframe but see nothing.... here comes/goes a beautiful little township. What was in it... I don't know, I didn't have time to stop. I would not want to be on the road if you were driving from Queenstown to Linda in 10 minutes! As for Russell falls being the best to see, then you obviously didn't bother going to see Montezume falls near Williamsford on the west coast. You jumped back and forth from Launceston to Hobart and vise versa, but left out so much more in the North West... SOME OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW as a title, because you didn't see it all.
Thank you! No fancy music and edits just go and take me there in Tasmania!! Loveit cheers
Fantastic video. I can't wait to get back and explore properly. Some realy great places to see, thanks.

Impressive
Port Arthur is left over from a previous population living in Australia, as are most buildings in Hobart
So beautiful Tasmania and you and your presentation 👍👍😍😍😍🥰🥰, lovely place to ❤visit
Thank you so much 🤗
Video bello😂Tasmania bellissima

Sounds like AI generated voice to me.
Thank you

adorable!!!!! thank you
How was St Helens? I love that town did you go and did you enjoy it.

I want to live there ❤
Thank You.
You're welcome
Missed out the best part the central highlands and lakes
it wouldn't matter how much was covered because there is always one dickhead that thinks they know a better place.
Good video although a natural voice track would have been nicer. AI voices just don't get phrasing or pronunciation right.
Many thanks for your feedback.
Compare Tasmania with Sri Lanka
This could of have been a great video, if it wasn't for the AI voice over unfortunately!

OMG. They drive on the wrong side of the road!

No one anywhere is jealous of Sydney 😅

Nothing better than Tasmania and New Zealand . 4 seasons in these places makes life worth while
Trust me NOBODY is jealous of Sydney. The best part of Sydney is seeing it in your rear vision mirror.
@SideEpics come to Chicago or New York for a season and you will remiss Sydney
