Cool collection of Rogue baits. Back in the late 70’s they offered the Smithwick Rogue in a bright fluorescent red coach dog color. ( very similar to the Tiger Roan , but red body w/ black back and black side spots ). They had them around Toledo Bend Lake…in Texas. Enjoyed the look back! Thanks, Rob
Hey Mark, sitting up watching this crazy weather like I have to plow😁 I been changing hooks on all my jerkbaits. I love the super Rouges. I'm still throwing a lot of Rouges. There are times when the Bass will only strike Rouges. Thanks again, Mark for sharing. ☮🤙🔥😎
Rogue's are great baits, for the price....being a lure junkie, i have all kinds of jerkbaits...best bang for your buck.....i do like that purple/yellow 1 u showed...other companies call it table rock shad...think I'll pick up a few more...Clown's a great color, too...try a treble with the small willow blade on the back!
Have you come across any Rogue Prefect 20's? I have one, only because it in the color I wanted & all the 10's were sold out. Except they seem oddly different from the deep diver rogue. They seem to just be a Prefect 10 body with a longer fatter lip, it has about the same angel to it too. While the deep diver seems to have different angel, & different lip all together.
Hi Kevin, I don’t have any of the Perfect 20’s….I have a bunch of Perfect 10’s. I haven’t seen the Perfect 20 yet, but I’m sure I’ll try one out eventually. I love Smithwick jerkbaits!
A suspending jerkbait will suspend at a certain depth…let’s say 4-6” on 8 lb line. A floating jerkbait will always rise to the surface once you stop ripping it.

What’s the difference between a floating and suspending jerk bait?
