I’m preparing to teach a class on watercolor cats and needed some ideas. These cats are so beautiful. I may have to try the black one. I love how they look realistic yet soft and painterly. True skill.
Very interesting. It would be a help to know how much drying time you used before you went back and put the details of the cats' faces in. What was the overall time it took from when you first wet the paper, then did the faces, and the whole image was completed?
