I went to Roswell Home Depot to order a roll of Reflectix. I said, “I need it for my UFO.” Whenever you make UFO jokes in;Roswell, you get that Roswell eye roll.
Gooooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video. We always look forward to them. Have a great day, and remember you and your family are always in our prayers. Fly pelican, fly! 👍😎🌴
Great video. Congrats.!!!! The Carlsbad Caverns , they are so beauty. I think they are the most beautiful caverns I"ve seen in my whole life. Love Peace & Freedom. MOM
I recently discovered Traveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits, I am going to post this comment on all the videos I watch! You da man, Robert!!
Great video Robert! New Mexico is my favorite state. I've lost count of all the times I've been there and Carlsbad Caverns over the years. If you ever go to the cave again, I recommend going down through the Natural Entrance of the cavern. So amazing!! In my mind, 100 times better than going down the elevator. Thank you so much for helping me add to my bucket list with your amazing videos!!
You probably will never go back to Carlsbad Caverns, but if by chance you do, be sure to walk down the natural entrance trail and also see the bat flight. Both are well worth the time. Thanks for another great video, Robert.
It goes without saying that this is another wonderful video. The caverns were great, but I found it interesting that you took the long boring drive over the desert and made it appealing. When I saw the dark clouds, then turning to rain, I could almost smell the sweet rain on the pavement as it burned off. Finally, the drone is a great way to put it all in perspective. As always, have fun and be safe.
Fascinating video! I’ve been making lists of places that I want to visit when I get a Winnebago to travel with since I have found your RUclips channel. I had no idea that New Mexico has places like this. As always, thanks for having us on the road with you. Onto the next episode on the road! Safe travels. 🤟🏻😊🤟🏻
Thank you veeeeery much!!!! I traveled your places about 10 years ago. I really enjoying your videos. I really, really want to go to there again. But I can't because I'm a Korean in Seoul and too old. It's all only enjoying your videos. Good luck and May God bless you!!!
Another excellent video by Robert the traveling video master. i really liked the beginning before the intro with the rabbits and sunrise, and the caverns were amazing! how nice that you didn’t have to take a guided tour, it was very peaceful watching without. Thanks as always. I now love IPA because of you 🍺
Great video. My wife and I went to Carlsbad Caverns and we walked down and took the elevator up, it was magnificent. I wanted to see Roswell, but we didn't have the time to go north then south back towards I-10. We were heading to see our daughter in Destin, Fl. Thanks for the video.
Hola, Roberto!! It is ALWAYS terriffic to 'see' you & su esposa! (Buenos dias!). I HAVE to add THIS: you see this country through a 'visitor'eyes'; as though it's NEW; THIS renews it for me...and, probably, many of your readers, too: (I can only hope); it's FUN to hear your thoughts, because your comparisons are FRESH!! Your views makes it easier for ME to look at this in new ways...for this, I thank you!! 😃🙃👣
My husband and I watched it twice. All I can say about the cave is WOW, fantastic, breath-taking, stunning. I have never seen anything like it. I had always heard that Roswell was an "alien themed town" but I did not know just how much until you took us on a tour of it, mercy, EVERYTHING is "alien" , amazing The "Bottomless Lake" campground was very serene looking, I loved the scenery around it. You are right, the drive from there to Taos was desolate, but the place where you went for the wine tasting was gorgeous, I love that type of architecture. It has been ages since I have been to Santa Fe and Taos, I am anxious to see how much the areas of changed; I always thought that Santa Fe was a lovely community. Thanks again and we are looking forward to your next video.
Roswell wasn't always "alien themed". Born and raised in Roswell. You heard about the crash and cover-up, but never saw anything alien around town. It was a very nice town to grow up in. It's kind of embarrassing to visit Roswell now, with all this alien commercialization.
Robert we just finished watching your vid on the large screen annnnd we just added Carl's Bad to our bucket list. Super show including narration and music. Each time I see your videos, I wonder, when will we be seeing Robert on the "History Channel" or "GAC" or "TLC" or "The Traveling Robert Channel"? 🤗 We are "The Griswolds" on RV Vacation.
Thank you Robert for the Carlsbad trip. I've lived here 22 yrs and never went . I really want to do a spring trip to San Antonio and Austin this year. Really enjoy your narration s. Now I've seen so much of your cooking I know your secret spices! Ha. Mine are green and red chili's ,garlic oregano, the rest is secret.Ha.Thanks again for the great videos.
I have been there at Carlsbad years ago. Nice to see it again. You need to stop at Blanchard Springs cavern in Mountain View, Arkansas. It's bigger and better.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us, it brought me great memories when I lived in Artesia, New Mexico. I got to explore everything around it. Someday I’ll go back again.💚💚💚
The Carlsbad Caverns are incredible. We stayed for the bat flight, but they kicked us out of the park due to lightning in three area, so we didn't see it. Stuff happens! Lol! The Bottomless Lake State Park looked cool! Safe travels my friend!
If you ever return to Carlsbad Caverns, then I would highly recommend taking the whole tour through it. It is well worth the time. Was surprised that you need a special permit to film the bats. I saw them come out of the cave when I visited it, back in the early 90's. I do not recall reading that you needed a special permit back then. Another great video, Robert!! I am due another visit to the state. I have not been there since I visited Carlsbad.
Great video. My parents took me to Carlsbad Caverns 50 years ago and as a surly teenager I refused to go in very far and waited in the station wagon. I was afraid of bats. Thanks the showing me what I missed and for the trip down memory lane.
As I was watching your videos, my Wife, Marilyn Duque, recognized you from working together at Discovery Channel. We enjoy your videos and they are encouraging me even more to buy an Rv. For the last 4 years, we've been doing road trips. Looking forward to get tips from you.
So badly want to visit Carlsbad Caverns again. Last time was in 1991 maybe 92? W my parents and brothers. The elevator ride down we rode w Arlo Guthrie and some Of his band. he had anonymity though as most people had NO clue who he was.
You are right about the camera not doing justice to the views in the Cavern. We purchased the "360 degrees of Carlsbad Caverns" CD at the gift shop. I think it was designed to play on Windows 95, because it wouldn't work on Windows 7.
Another great video Robert, thank you for sharing, make me anxious for the next one, and dream in one day make those tips. Have a safe and pleasant journey. A big hug from Brazil.
Another great video from your awesome roadtrip! Carlsbad Caverns are amazing! I thought you had already been to the UFO Museum in Roswell, then I realized it was because you had posted a pic of you there in your Alien t-shirt last summer. Dejavu! Cue the Sci-Fi music! Haha.
Carlsbad was awsome. When we went the elevator was broken so we hiked all the way down to the bottom carrying our 2 year old daughter and then back up. It was a spectacular workout.
Those UFO riders definitely have a better idea. It is much better to tour while hovering. The magic carpet tour is the best as long as it isn't raining. Have been at Carlsbad Caverns 3 times now. All in the 60's.
Welcome to nm.its to bad you arent gunna be down here around december..the river of lights in abq were i live..been watching you for awhile now.and im hooked.haha.safe travels bud.
The lakeside campsite looked wonderful! Your drone footage was beautiful. Such a varied landscape surrounding the lake!Enjoyed seeing the UFO museum 👽 Nice to see your Mom's post ☺ Any trips coming up with your Mom? Loved seeing the hummingbirds at the feeder 😁
American South West is beautiful. I used to live in Phoenix but haven't seen half the places you show in your videos. My job kept me very busy. BTW, my friend and I did see an array of UFO objects once, about 17 years ago. We were shooting cans out in the desert, on BLM land, about 10 miles west of Lake Pleasant, just north of Phoenix. I noticed an array of 8 bright lights and assumed they were commercial planes following their instrument approach to Sky Harbor airport. All of the sudden they broke the formation and began to move around. I used to fly small planes and could judge their location and distance based on the few small clowds they flew behind for a few seconds. They were at least 20-25 miles away and at least at 30-35 thousand feet above ground. There is no way any known man made airplane can accelerate and change direction of flight so abruptly, unless gravity and space-time were manipulated in some way. The G forces would crush any living being and brake even the strongest titanium structures. They were accelerating from nearly zero to at least 3000+ MPH in just under a second. They did this for about 20 minutes and disappeared, one at a time. Very weird and fascinating. I wish I had a camera with me but smartphones weren't available back then. This made a believer out of me. Something is up there.
The 1947 Roswell Incident is perhaps the most famous or at least well known reported UFO crash, but there are at least 12 other documented UFO crashes around the country dating back to 1897 when a mysterious object reportedly crashed outside the town of Aurora, Texas. Exact details of that particular crash are extremely limited but residents did report seeing a disc shaped object that crashed out in the fields with bodies of small humanoid figures scattered around. Much of these type of tales have been lost in the mist of time but the features seem to have striking similarities.
When I was a wee lad my parents took me there and I also got the Viewmaster discs for it and looked at those over and over. That and Hoover Dam. I wonder where that viewmaster is today?
Love your videos Robert and look forward to each new one you post, especially love all the drone footage! It’s inspired me to get a done too. You probably may have already mentioned it in a previous video, but what type of drone do you fly and would you recommend or would you upgrade? Also, I understand that drones require to be registered but did you also have to get your done pilot certificate as well? Thanks again for showing us the world!
That was a really great video, Robert. Thank you so much! I always feel as I've been on a trip with a personal tour guide when I watch one of your videos. Enjoy your travels, and stay safe out there.
Traveling Robert Thanks... i will look for it...it does show up often in your cooking segments so i am curious to try it... I already have ‘Paprika’ lol
I LOVE ALL your videos , Your videos are the ones that make me WANT to travel , BEST youtube channel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I may be a younger viewer but I love your videos. You have your own filming/editing style that I think works great
Thank you for being awesome Robert! 🚐
beautiful america, who agrees with me
I went to Roswell Home Depot to order a roll of Reflectix. I said, “I need it for my UFO.” Whenever you make UFO jokes in;Roswell, you get that Roswell eye roll.
Roswell not just a tourist attraction but a functional city dedicated to keeping the belief alive
Right on, plus there are tons of digital photos if you just look for them. Believer or non-believer, still an awesome place to visit.
Gooooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video. We always look forward to them. Have a great day, and remember you and your family are always in our prayers. Fly pelican, fly! 👍😎🌴
Thank you!
This video, like many others you've made, lifts my spirits so much!
Mother Nature's exquisite grandeur takes your breath away.
I had a blast visiting Roswell, when I was in the military. We also visited the Caverns..
Don’t worry about running the AC Robert. It’s relatively quiet. Great adventure, great video.
Another excellent video Robert, you really do find some lovely places to show us.
Loved the humming birds at the winery and the caverns were awesome 😎
Robert is on! Putting all the house chores aside and watch first!
Another great video as always. Look forward to coffee and new video every week!
Robert my wife and I love your videos, been watching your videos over a year 👍
The old elevators used to have glass in them so you could see all the rock going by as you were diving into the depths and layers of cave : )
Great video. Congrats.!!!! The Carlsbad Caverns , they are so beauty. I think they are the most beautiful caverns I"ve seen in my whole life. Love Peace & Freedom. MOM
Hello Alma 👋
Hey Mom! 👋
Hola, MOM.....👍😁
We took our kids there on new years day 1998. It was so awesome!!! Looking forward to doing it again. It has been too long.
You missed the Walker aviation museum in Roswell. Its a real museum, and free.
I recently discovered Traveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits,
I am going to post this comment on all the videos I watch! You da man, Robert!!
Oh my, Sunday and a new Robert Video with new adventures :) Just great.
That lady sure likes to talk when your talking lol! I had to stop video for minute I was laughing so hard , another great video thanks Robert😊
Once Robert starts cooking I wait patiently for the vino seco to make its appearance.
Beautiful lake and drone footage.
Love the winery.
Roswell looks like a bizarre little town. ❤

Oh no, how am I going to get paid
Traveling Robert don’t you get the ad money regardless?
"Yes, I'm riding. Riding in my UFO"
We saw the bats at Carlsbad Caverns...so awesome!!! We stayed at the Carlsbad KOA, and it was very nice!

I appreciate that track that is similar to “The Sopranos” theme song. Very well produced!
A beautiful sun rise
At 8:27...oh oh not Robert getting funky with the drum pads. Nice music.
Thanks!
You missed a lot by not walking down. We kinda got the "cliff notes version"
Looking forward Robert to Minitini being towed by the new Tesla Cybertruck!

Thank you. Very nice area. Mom will be coming with me to Tampa in January
@@TravelingRobert Great. I'll be looking forward to it! 😁
There are 56,000 wind turbines in the USA. After seeing this, I will definitely stop in Roswell!
The best youtuber !!!!! 👏👏👏👏😎🇺🇸
"It's getting hot in here" 😂
Damn, you should've went down the natural way in It's amazing! The Elevator should only be used to get back up
Roswell is my kind of town.
Thanks for the tour Robert. Thumbs up. ~*~
Robert thank you for this interesting video! 😊
Thanks for sharing, truly amazing!

That was a really great video, Robert. Thank you so much! I always feel as I've been on a trip with a personal tour guide when I watch one of your videos. Enjoy your travels, and stay safe out there.
What is the cooking wine you like to use .... i never seem to be able to catch the name ?
There are several brands Goya Edmundo... it is a golden cooking dry wine.
Traveling Robert Thanks... i will look for it...it does show up often in your cooking segments so i am curious to try it... I already have ‘Paprika’ lol
I love your channel !
I am curious, how did you get into traveling like this, what motivated you ?
Hello Robert, enjoy your videos, how do you set up your Sony camcorder to video from the vehicle's dashboard?
Suction cup camera adapter. I just rotate it on the tripod thread.
