I have two mouthpieces, the original Jacob Arnold’s heritage mouthpiece from the Canadian brass and a parentucci -88+, I use my Jacob Arnold’s for Higher pieces as I have some trouble entering the High range with the 88 even though it does give me a darker sound. Is this an idea set up having two mouthpieces for different types of playing or should I just train as much as I can with the 88?

Is the dillon F2 B american shank good for sousaphones?

I'll definitely have to give the C3L a blow. For my 1291, I found that the Giddings Baer model suited that horn very well for myself, which is 1.295" rim and .321 throat. With the CB-1 it does just seem ever so slightly bigger than what I need, but I can still do great things with it. I just wish they were in SS, because I love the feeling/response of that material!
Edit: Also looks like you slightly misspoke in saying the C3L rim is the exact same as the CB-2 and throat in between the CB-1 and 2. Looks like the rim is smack in between and the throat is the same as CB-1 with the different backbore. But I still think I may like the C3L with those differences, since as I said earlier, the CB-1 is just barely too large feeling for myself.
