  • Welcome to what it's really like to have a 16 week old puppy as I show you how I have a successful daily routine for my 16 week old puppy. I take you through our whole day so you can experience what it's really like to have a fun, energetic 16 week old puppy! I have found a successful daily routine that works for my crazy 16 week old puppy, where he is tired by the end of the day, and he is well behaved (mostly lol) throughout the day.
So if you are wondering what my life looks like since getting a puppy, well here is what my day looks like at home with my 16 week old puppy! We got our puppy when he was 8 weeks old, and we are just now starting to have a daily routine that works best for us and for our puppy.
Puppies thrive off of have a daily routine, and sticking to it! I cannot emphasize that enough! When we are off of his routine, he misbehaves more often and his energy level is out of control.
Enjoy spending the day with my 16 week old puppy; you will see what it's really like! I hope that this video helps you with your daily routine with your 16 week old puppy. And if not, I hope with video brightens your day in some way!

He is so adorable! I was laughing as I watched this, because he has no idea the extent to which he has taken over your lives and home! 😂 The training will pay off. It can be a pain at first but it's worth it. I know what you mean about it changing your relationship. It was the same for us when we got our girl although she was older. She's brought so much to our lives as well. BTW, great editing.

      I know right?!😂
I hope so!! He’s so much work so sometimes I have a hard time telling myself that it will pay off someday when he’s a good adult dog.
And thank you for the compliment! I’m still using iMovie but I’m looking into buying more intricate editing software, so we’ll see!
Thank you for watching, as always!😘

I’ve read that if you exercise them too much when they’re that young, it can affect their joints. I mean I like your approach, but what do you think about that?

Hm puppies should only be walked 5 minutes for every year of their life so he can only handle a 20 minute walk at his age, since his bones aren't formed yet properly you can really hurt the process of him growing if you have over walked him at such a young age. Surgery might be required in order age, just food for thought.

Yes I know this, but Vizslas have exceptionally high energy!! I was very careful not to actually run him but I literally had to take him on lots of walks so he wouldn’t destroy everything in sight 🙈
