The HTC Sensation comes with the latest version of HTC's Sense UI, version 3.0. This means that you get a variety of interface changes, like a custom lock screen, improved home screen experience with new widgets, an updated program tray, an enhanced email application, and more. The weather app, for example, has been updated to feature dramatic animations with sound effects.
Thanks to its qHD screen, the Sensation's built-in apps have a ton of functionality packed into every screen. Text is also quite sharp and crisp thanks to the high pixel density.

It's cool to watch old pocketnow videos
The carousel effect is quite cool.I don't hit the home button all the time now.Sense UI is the most easiest and user-friendly operating system.I love my HTC Sensation!
Excellent looking UI. I am impressed with the slight improvements. The use of the higher resolution is really great to see. I look forward to my purchase of this phone on T-Mobile.
Still kind of a bummer that it doesn't handle flash content in the web browser as well as Samsung's GSII does, but it still looks quite functional.
I shall test it for myself personally in store.

I can not wait to get this, although I will miss my Desire HD terribly this will be an awesome replacement.
htc's ui is by far the most polished of any android phone. if this phone had the sweet amoled screen that samsung had it'd be a killer and an instant buy from me!

I'm posting this from my sensation and I love it! camera is not fucking poor mine don't lag and I have not had the death grip so and battery life is awesome that is all

This phone really lives up to its name!
The application tray and quick settings are not new to Sense 3.0. They've been there since Sense 2.1. So has the social stream clock widget.
Does the htc sensation have that htc sense live wallpaper with all those different colored bubbles our did htc remove that from this handset?
@Smallie7 Ive heard most people say that it does not have the death grip issue. If it does, Im sure the retailer will replace it for you.
One thing I dislike about Sense is its 'dock bar' with the giant phone button and personalization button. I don't need or want those there. It's also just a little..too much, in terms of design. I'd rather keep it simple. I like the look of stock Gingerbread better.
But it has its qualities, for sure. The new lock screen is genius.

I was waiting for the iphone 5 then they announced the 4s so i have decided to get this :)
this phone is good even though its old just need to replace the default battery with mugen battery and this phone is a beast

I had both the sensation and the samsung Galaxy S2; I personally prefer the sensation due to Sense UI.

HTC Sense is the PLUS factor for, well, HTC. XD. HTC Sense 3.0 made me decide to get an HTC sensation rather than a Galaxy s 2
I love this phone :) it's much better than samsung. Camera, Sense and other stuff is just amazing!!

@Jerz1983 i will agree that the s2 is a -little bit- better than the sensation, but you need to relax, its not the end of the world having a sensation instead of the s2

@rasmussfodbold actually looks to have problems with compatibility, but should be sufficiently powerful.
since tmobile ppl might not get this..do u recommend the sensation or wait a few months for the hercules or a better phone?
@Jerz1983 I just want to say you, I don't care that samsung is little bit faster, but Sensation is easier to use. Firstly try to use some device with HTC Sense and WVGA+ screen. U can't download HTC Sense from market. HTC Sense is not only Homescreen and widgets
Do u need a data plan to use wifi on this phone ( I live in Canada and one of the carriers doesn't require a data plan but I don't know will using wifi cost me
@AlexMangekyo I'm also realistic, those things aren't important for me,, the UI, feature (including built in Wifi Portbl Hotspot), customization, built quality, and price is the + point bro :)
is it possible to add a lyrics for your songs on the htc like on the iPhone???
i'm from singapore and i wonder if i can use the movie application in my country..i'm afraid of licensing rights and stuff and not allowing me to use that application at all.. you guys have any idea if my location is going to be a problem for me using the phone to it's full potential?

awesome phone! wanting this badly!
I like sense but i still went with the SGS2.
Now i'm using ADW ex / launcher pro plus and i think its MUCH better than sense 3.0.
So the sgs2 beastly hardware + awesome launcher softwares = a pure godly phone.
i admit physically the sensation bests the galaxy s2 but i am using a really good case so i don't really care about that either.
i can't decide between the sgs2 and sensation, the sense 3.0 is a big argument, but the thought that the samsung is faster , makes me uncertain...
@DJINDJIPLQKTOR i've noticed that the task manager on the HTC phones doesnt really tell you the actual amount of free ram. on my desire it says i have only about 87mb free and when i use the advanced task killer i downloaded it usualy says i have about 186mb (out of 576) so the phone is actually faster than it thinks.
May I know how much RAM the Sensation has upon startup?

@steph2k10 Yes, because they can't use complex OS like android, most people are comfortable to use something easy like iOS, except for gadget freak I guess :)

Well I don't even know .. But just this week I got a new battery for my phone which is called ANKER and I haven't experienced any shutdown as of now ...
