I remember this airing on channel 4 in 83 I think. Always remembered the trashing flashes of the band before the reveal. Also jools Holland joking about planes never reversing into mountains. And here we are 40 years later and they are still selling out stadiums. I went through awful slagging because I loved their music as a straight man. I just knew there was much more to them than flashy videos, heavy makeup and puting at cameras.
Duran Duran has been one of my favorite bands over the years on my top five list only second to Wham and George Michael I whose now passed on .I am somewhat a seventies man but especially 80s that is the nucleus of what I like for music 🎵 Even my gospel and christian music I was able to go to see Duran Duran last August in Toronto Canada as an early birthday present 🎁 from my sister and her boyfriend

I remember LeBon and crew arriving in Punta del Este during the Whitbread race probably before his accident maybe and a local DJ interviewing him.

'The Tube' had presenters like Jools Holland and Paula Yates who made interviews a little bit too much about themselves.
