  • It is no secret that the entirety of the North Dallas area is absolutely exploding with growth. I spoke with Kara Sewell, Anchor of Daybreak with WFAA. We went all over North Dallas, visiting cities such as Prosper, Celina, and Frisco. These cities alone have each doubled in population, showing just how massive the growth in this area is! In fact, the DFW might be the DFFW (Dallas Frisco Fort Worth) pretty soon! Check out this great video on the North Dallas Boom!

    I'm moving to Dallas from Canada and your videos have been very helpful in analyzing the Dallas neighborhoods. Will likely start with renting but Fields or Windsong is def. on top of the list for settling long term. Now all they need is an international airport in addition to DFW

    Some of his statements were off. Goldman sachs is building a campus near Victory Park which would be a 50 minute plus commute from Prosper.
    Also Texas Instruments is building a plant in Sherman, not moving the Headquarters there. HQ will remain in Dallas.

    • @LIVINGINDALLAS
      @LIVINGINDALLAS  3 месяца назад +4

      Correct. When I say “here”, I’m implying DFW metro. It wasn’t meant that Goldman is moving to Prosper. They are building in the Uptown area. Even though that’s a long commute, several of those employees will choose to live in Frisco and Prosper. And yes, I meant the plant in Sherman. It’s still a large development that will create a lot of growth up there and people will live in Prosper and Celina to work there.

    This is my humble opinion and ,hopefully, you don't mind: ( If you do mind, thanks for removing this comment!)
    When Bay area ( maybe New York area etc. ) people think about DFW, probably, their first impression is "very affordable". If DFW is called
    D-HighlandPark-FW, people's thinking will be different ( at least, it is not very affordable ). However, highland park, University park, Preston Hallow and South Lake are either not a city or only having small amount of population or no diversity. When you use the name "DFFW", at least, make people feel that this metro area is "medium", not very affordable which, certainly, will make people like real estate agents's job easy to get investment from Bay ara or New Yorker on real estate investment. Certainly, "affordable" also has a strong advantage, especially to homeless. It gives them a hope that, if they get a job, they should be able to find a place to stay or even buy a condo if their new job pay better. Eiither way has advantages.
    Once again, hopefully, my this comments do not offend people! Otherwise, please accept my apology and correct me!
