@@jesserdo9963 Depends on where in Carrollton. If you're talking about the Valley View, Josey Lane area you're right outside the city limits. 10 minutes at most it's an inner ring suburb.
.. You have to think of Dallas in the greater scale bc Dallas is part of the DFW metro which is like 8 MM plus people.. People form the suburbs as well as Fort Worth live work play etc in Dallas and vice versa as well as it’s continuous city to city.. Also, Dallas, as most believe, is the most glamorous of all Texas cities.. They have more money, the most billionaires, best shopping, awesome dining, awesome sports venues and teams, awesome nightlife on a larger scale and some of the most beautiful people if not the most in Texas.. It’s definitely a city where people are fit, on their game w their careers and out to conquer .. Austin is beautiful city and all that on a smaller scale with the exception of having a hot nerd/ hippy vibe.. Austin is definitely a lot more laid back.. and Houston, well don’t get me started on Houston.. It’s like Dallas’ older more goofy sister that doesn’t know how to dress or what to do with herself.. Although Houston is bigger , it definitely lacks.. And I can say so bc I lived in all 3 Texas. Cities with Houston being the longest.. Def visit and see the difference for yourself.. For me , it’s Dallas hands down.. So much to do see and places to be seen.. The excitement and energy of the city is palpable!!!
Thanks for mentioning us! We love being a part of your tradition - seeing the Dallas skyline during sunset on the Texas Star Ferris Wheel is a view like no other! Hope to see y'all again soon!
Some of my more hardcore music friends agree with me (quietly) that Nickelback is the best guilty pleasure :) Their music has been studied and found "too perfect" lol. Anyhow, thanks for the vid. I'm looking for a way to pick up work in DFW :)
Property taxes in DFW Metroplex are high. 2.5 to 3.2% of assessed value as an average. Toll roads now are more prevalent and even though you can get a toll tag, they can add up. Hats off to the "High 5" massive interchange and Allen Eagle Stadium, the largest high school football stadium in the nation. They represent everything is truly bigger in Texas.
Great review of Dallas. I love living in Dallas. Moved here after graduating from. University in Atlanta. What I like: Upscale shopping at highland park, Bishop art district and park lane . I also love the restaurants, especially going to Korean town in Carrollton off of trinity parkway. Best Korean food in the world There is also Asian district shopping off Harry Hines My favorite places to visit on weekend are white rock lake, deep ellum and art district. What I don’t like Downtown is mainly for business and is a boring place to visit at night and mostly one way strict. Traffic is bad unless you take the tollway which does cost Summer weather from June to September is awful.
Hats off to The Village Apartments........the joke is everybody has to live at The Village at least once while living there. Kicking it since the 70's.

I suggest checking National Weather Service sites for more accurate insights on Dallas climatology.
