Thanks for the reaction guys. This track is by no means the best on the album. Personally I think Silent Alarm is the best debut Brit album of the 2000's. I can't recommend it highly enough. I hear influences from Gang of Four, The Jam (obviously), early U2. The drummer Matt Tong is an absolute machine.
Silent Alarm is an awesome album, still really tight as a band saw them gig this album live 2 years ago, brilliant, check out some other songs off the album
Would recommend the tracks 'Banquet' and 'Two More Years' off the same album, "Silent Alarm". Also "The Prayer" off their second albums. Also the track "Flux"
I've just been exposed to Bloc Party by my son's caregiver, and found it to be interesting. Glad to know mid-range guitar is not dead. Nice catch on both the key, tempo and time signature. I liked this song as well.
Absolute Master of their Name!!! They have many same same. Straight Punk Rock of the best kinds in the mis 2000's ... Other bands to check out, Good Charlotte, Pennywise, And Of Course Rise Against!
Incredible album. Their drummer is next level! Whilst I'm here can I recommend some Portishead; 'Roads' or 'Glory Box' would be ace. The live versions from Roseland NYC are incredible ✌️
Should check out the Elbow Abbey Road sessions Jose Gonzalez, Maccabees, Magic Numbers, Ben Howard, The Jezabels are some great artists to listen to also👍 Zero 7( who you’ve gone into a little) are amazing too
One of the best UK guitar bands. So many good songs on Silent Alarm, choose any track and you’ll love it.
What a request! Silent Alarm is an outstanding album from start to finish.

2000s post punk revival at its finest. Although they went a little softer later in their discography, they never missed a beat.
@@posesepulu3771 That era was the most fun of my life.

Try Lloyd Cole and the Commotions. Loads to choose from but Rattlesnakes from the same titled album is a favourite of mine.
I take it that you are aware of The Fall? My favourite of theirs is Frightened from the Album Live at the Witch Trials.
silent alarm is an amazing album! you should 100% listen to banquet by them, The dueling guitar riff is pretty incredible.
Guys, check out a band called Clutch and the songs Electric Worry and The Regulator. They also did a great cover of Fortunate Son.

I prefer the song Banquet but this is still good

Check out some music by The Strokes, an early song like Reptilia or a new one like The Adults Are Talking
The Strokes and the Arctic Monkeys. The two greatest bands out of the 2000s
