I own the Original Lectric XP. Just ordered the 3.0 long range. I definitely want this upgrade. I want over 100 miles with pedal assist. Great video. Made it look easy. Thank you
Can I use the original XP battery with the new 3.0 long range. What items do I need to purchase. Please and thank you.
Thank you thank you!!!! I saw this video. Order parts and new battery. 4 days later everything came in. 15 min install, thanks to this great video on how to do so. And now im riding for 2 plus hours at a time. Thank you for sharing this info. I thought I was going to have to buy a new bike to ride further but now I do not have to. Saved big time on money
----- You got way bigger balls than I do! Even after watching videos multiple times I didn't trust myself to remove the rear tire to fix a nail hole. I paid REI and their skilled technicians to replace the rear tube. In my wildest dreams I don't think I would ever open up my bike to add another battery even though it seems like a great idea!
Are you a man?
Just installed the balancer on my 3.0 could not be happier. Range is fantastic now opened up a whole new world. Also very quick delivery couldn't ask for better. Great job Electricwheel keep it up can't wait to see whats next.
I installed the balancer on my straight frame 3.0 a couple weeks ago and it only took less than 10 minutes. Now I can do longer rides on the Katy trail. This little box is worth the money. I also purchased the adapter for the Lectric battery. Excellent product and service.
This is incredible. Have any issues been reported with this modification?
Been around for a long time. Facebook groups will validate it for you
I just installed the test dual balancer kit. Works great for at. I installed a 20 ah battery HAILONG battery on my Lectric 3.0 xp walkthrough battery. It also came with a 14ah battery. Question. I wonder with both batteries how does the e-bike manage the battery usage from both batteries. Does the e-bike connect battery life from both at same time or when one battery finishes and expires does it then begin to get battery life. Also I wonder if you can share ur calculator of projected Miles with the the new 20ah and Lectric 15ah battery. Thanks
So I have a XP 3.0 now but I have an X Peak on preorder. According to the Lectric website the X Peak draws up to 24 amps at full throttle. Will this cause a problem with this balancer only rated a 20 amps?
We have 40A kits available now, and will have a new 30A on the way.
Thank you for this video. Can you run the batteries independently or is it best to run the bike with both on? Thank you in advance
For maximum sustained voltage and range, it’s best for both.
You can operated with just 1 battery
I’m sorry, I’d be interested in ordering this kit for my bike, but I don’t see a link? Can you please provide a link to order this same kit?

Where can I purchase the external battery and case shown in this video. Maybe I'm missing the link.
Here’s a list of all our recommended batteries
electricallwheel.com/pages/recommended-batteries-to-use-the-electricallwheel-dual-battery-kits
i installed this on my lectric bike, it seems to only get 1 hr of range(20 miles) and when i charge my two batteries the enclosed battery shows to be fully charged and the external battery is the one that charges.
im not sure what is going on, i was looking forward to the extra range but i feel that my bike is only using the power from the external battery. what could the problem be?
You’re batteries need to be charged separately. Both batteries will not charge through the Lectric charging port
Could this work with 3 batteries and 2 battery balancers?
Yes
@@ElectricAllWheel thanks for the quick response.
I'm going to order another balancer and add the third battery see how far I can get.
Do the batteries need to be the same voltage with this balancer?
The balancer will draw the higher voltage battery until matching the other battery, and then uniformly discharge both until low voltage cutoff
Make sure you are using same rated voltage (48V)
Hello from Folsom ,PA…I’m new to e-bikes…I have the Xp 3.0 and thinking of doing dual battery setup but I like the xpremium setup. Would I be able to do the same battery setup for my xp 3.0? Want to set the second battery between the seat post and rear wheel. Not sure it would squeeze in that space…thanks
The small 10Ah will fit on the step through bike that way but not the normal high step 3.0, unfortunately
@@ElectricAllWheel what battery would fit in that space?
How do you end up charging or u have to unplug and charge seperatly
Each battery will need to be charged independently
Is the re-charging procedure to be done through the original standard battery port once for both batteries (as they are now linked) or done for each battery separately?
Each battery separately
Can I add a third battery to my Xpedition? Would really love to have a range monster.
Yes, same concept as this

can the lectric external battery fit on the xp. step thru, under the seat??
It won’t fit in the slot under the seat on the back side unfortunately.
is it safe to charge both batteries at the same time while both of them are connected? with the ebike off of course.
For ultimate safety it is recommended to unplug them or remove them. However, with our personal selection of bikes, we charge the batteries at the same time without issue.
@@ElectricAllWheel Thanks for the response and your input! :)
Hi Scott, I know you have Factory External Battery XT60 Adapter for the Lectric xp, I’m wondering do you have one for the Aventon Aventure? Thx
Unfortunately we have not developed an adapter for the Aventure battery at the moment.
Thank you for the video I have subscribed and I had a question. Do you have a link for that part to balance both batteries and can I use an additional long range battery of the same kind with the balancer? Also, is there a kit that I can install on my lelectric 3.0. that I can add an additional motor to increase power and/or speed. If you have a link, I would appreciate it if you could reply with it as well. Thanks in advance.
Thank you.
Links to all the products should be in the description of the video. An adapter for an extra Long range battery can be found in the store at electricallwheel.com.
We are unaware of a kit for dual motor on the Lectric XP
@ElectricAllWheel i have the exact bike and was wondering if you can give me the list of the pasrts yu used so i can add them to mine?
@darlam40 here is the kit
electricallwheel.com/products/20a-universal-dual-battery-balancer-kit-bullet-t-plug-xt60
And you will pick a 48V battery from this list
electricallwheel.com/pages/recommended-batteries-to-use-the-electricallwheel-dual-battery-kits
Would it work on the Jetson Haze?

could i add another xp. 3.0 long range battery and could you show me how
Yes you can. Use this post to help guide you.

I have a xp 3.0 lr step thru bike. I wonder if I can install the H HAILONG EBike Battery 48V 15 amp battery with ur balancer. And If yes where on the e-bike can I install it and if you have a picture. I want to get the 15 amp battery instead of the 10 amp. Does ur balancer support both an installed 14 Amp Lectric battery and a 15 amp battery. Thanks
You can use any combination amp hour battery you would like, just make sure to match your system voltage (48V).
This page should help. electricallwheel.com/how-to-install-lectric-xp-dual-batteries/
XPedition Possible to add 3rd or maybe 4th battery?
Yes. Add a balancer inline as if it was a battery to the original balancer in the bike.
@@ElectricAllWheel thanks
Too many negative comments having nothing to do with the video.
