Jesse, you should be so proud of Antares!!! You are right. He really trusts and loves you so much. His confidence was a bit shakey at times, but he still pushed through for you. That tells me how much he loves you. Looks like a fun experiment. Remember trust is everything and be sure to never push him beyond what he can do. Your relationship with Antares is very, very special. I also caution you watch the footing. If you did this too long, it is possible he could slip, possibly fall in the wet footing, and get hurt and I know you would not want that. To me it looked like you did it just right and that you both enjoyed it and had fun. I am so jealous of that beautiful arena and it is wonderful that you have such a nice quiet place to concentrate and work your horses every day. Stay safe. Love you and Matt!! :)

I think we are always teaching and they are learning no matter what we do with them. I would love to see some more cart excursions with Macho around the neighborhood, and maybe some trail riding too (when you have the time lol). Thank you for using your valuable time to put a smile on so many faces. Antares was such a good sport - he did very well. You have such a gentle way in your training methods and it shows by the way they all respect you. Very nice work!

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who does a little "hop" every time I hitch my duds up! Loving the Nalanta bridle, Jesse - my OTTB is going so well in it at home I was going to try jumping her in it, in a friend's arena, but the arena wasn't fully fenced so I opted out!
