Resonance ONLY affects Base Attributes which are Life and Damage. it does not affect the main attributes like intel, viatility, etc. Simple test. Check your stats, un-equip a gem, check your stats. Even easier, un-enquip a gem and watch the attribute reduction miniscreen flash as it shows what drops by how much. Combat rating is not affected by resonance which was correctly stated and it is a flat stat that shows on each gem (second line).
Wanted to say thanks to all of Aftershock United on Stormshield server, the game is super fun and all of the content creators have really contributed to making the game even more of a great community than it already is.

Idk if you’re up for it . . . but you did a great job w/ the math & mechanics of resonance & I was wondering if you could do a video roughly calculating the range of how much it might cost to get on level playing ground w/ pay to win players. For example, There’s the 1k in orbs per gemslot . . . just to unlock that advanced resonance system with the 10/20 bonus. Then go ballistic & open the market & just see what it would cost if you wanted to dump cash into the market by platinum to get a full set. It may seem absurd. . . but I think it’d make a great video & ultimately, that’s what I’m curious about (not that I would pay like that).

This game is not worth my time. Very soon you hit the paywall, which is not optional (days of grind vs. $100 bucks = not worth playing). I play ACE again, at least there are strategies involved and gear cannot be bought, which improves stats way more than ascending.

The game makes it very fun for the initial F2P community: lots of quests and side quests, generous legendary drops, great graphics for a mobile game (looks decent on a gaming rig too), and yada yada yada. However, if you want to ever dream of making the leaderboards it comes down to your resonance. Challenge rifts and PVP all comes down to P2W. They've stymied all of us from racing up the paragon levels too. This ensures that the whales can comfortably level and always stay ahead of the game. If you're racing to get to paragon 600 to smash a whale in his face, you won't be able too. As a grinder, you'll quickly discover your XP continues to get harder and harder to go up. You'll have to work twice as hard and even 4x harder to grind up the higher you go. That's the problem with this game. I'm done with Diablo Immortal - I got to paragon 41 and I'm finished. There's nothing to do now with the game - the legendary drops do nothing except to scrap them for mats to upgrade gear. Gear means nothing until Hell 4 anyways. Set pieces are too weak to worry about until then. Unfortunately the game offers very little carrot and too much stick for grinders. There aren't enough zones and world maps are small. I'm going to invest my time in Diablo 4 where they say the money spent will be on cosmetics and expansions and not P2W. I'm really hoping they don't allow gem resonance in D4 or the game will flop dead on arrival.

Im tired of games where my base gets destroyed or the game is unplayable because of pvp domination... when i downloaded this game, my expectation was quest related, not pvp. Unless someone doesn't have self-control to prevent unwanted spending, i dont see a problem.. The content quality of this mobile game is exceptional imo, when there are so many trashy, quest-less/story-less games out there. there is still plenty to do as well. like grinding to sell on the market for platinum. Veiled says he earns more than 4k platinum a day.....

As you want, but buy mostly 1 star gems for 800 plat. Because 1 Gempowder is considered worth about 1k Plat. So buy low.
2/5gem gives 32 gempower. So if 2/5gem is less than 32x price of 1/1. Save your plat

Even you sell gg 2/5 to market place for plat and hunt for cheap gems that won’t give you more than half of what a rank10 required.
