Trauma bonding plays a part. Especially when men have get caught up in the toxicity (I've been there!). Takes a strong man to let go, even if they love that person, but they know for their own well being it is the right thing to do. Know your worth, heal and become stronger.

Recently broke up with a narc. She finally discarded me now she's getting her life together. She used me for time, attention, & money because she was bored. She used, manipulated, coerced, lied, & was abusive on all levels. She was an alcoholic who is now healing though. I knew she was fake & a problem. Everyone & my parents said so. I ignored all the red flags because I was the nice guy & was forgiving.o. But I need to blame & need to work on myself. I enjoyed the attention & sex while it lasted.
