Totally. I didn’t know who they were but they opened up for Overkill. I was blown away by how good they were live and became an instant fan. After their set, Floor Jansen and another band member came out to the floor to see Overkill. She was standing directly behind me and it was cool to see them rock out to Overkill too.

Back in the days, my greatest wish was to see Floor as the new Nightwish-singer - better late than never, I would say ;-)
Although I think Nightwish and Floor is the best thing ever.I really liked After Forever

Man,... I remember thinking this after my first After Forever Concert in 2007. At that time I was listening to AF WAY more than Nightwish. Nightwish was too pop for me, but was always way bigger than AF. When Floor joined them was like Food with the will to eat. Perfection. I knew Floor by pictures back then, after a 2 hours concert I was like "This viking woman is a goddess". Her Stage prasence was incredible. The only one I saw live on her level on stage was Russell Allen from Symphony X.

It's not like that Floor was away from music between After Forever and Nightwish, she was with an amazing band called ReVamp and had so many great guess appearance in other projects.

@@m_nivon1652 floor was in the middle of a burnout prior to nightwish so she was actually away from music.
Then Annette was having child so they needed a sub for their tour and well floor was available so she had like a week to learn the lyrics and that broke her out of her burnout. Needless to say they didn't need Annette once they got a taste of floor lol.

I saw her /AF live and she was unbelievable powerful. I preferred After Forever on the Metal scene, while I knew of Nightwish and liked their songs, but I got tired of listening to Tarja's voice after an hour or so. Floor's stage presence and contact with the crowd has always been unique - she is the ultimate entertainer / performer / singer, whatever - she is simply formidable and the best ever 🤘🤘🤘
