What a lovely gesture to involve a young fan like that. The girl was so incredibly nervous and scared and Sharon was so wonderfully warm, nurturing and encouraging. Kudos to Within Temptation. What a classy thing to do!

i'm not sure she does this at every show, but at the Palladium in Massachusetts USA they did, and it was so cute watching the reaction as the young woman (she was younger than this one) looked out and realized how many were watching her--I'm sure she'll always remember it.

I have been a fan from the first moment they broke through.... been to some concerts of them and never saw this happening.... I really like to listen to them. When i was trucking through Switzerland, i always put the radio on max and 'song' with the CD... sometimes forgetting the window was down :)
Mikhail Cazi they were also in my country too ^^ or i could also call it the country where Sharon was born: the Netherlands! but sadly i wasn't close enough to be able to touch her hand :( or to catch a guitar pick or drumstick :( but it was my very first time going to a concert that time and that it was from WT was the very best day of my life!
