I remember, in 2012, I just turned 16 and recovering from an ED and what not. I came home from school, walked in to our house (my parents always had the radio on) and heard Video Games. I was enchanted. I found the sound of her voice and the whole tone of voice of the music itself so interesting and comforting, that I decided to look in to it. And here am I, commenting so many years later. Lana is a true singer. An artist, as she truly makes art.

This is so awesome to see! It’s so wholesome that Sharon really did just want to come on the show as a fan. And Lana seems like such a sweet and shy person, she seemed really nervous at the beginning, but Sharon is so warm and genuine and the host is pretty funny, I think they did a really good job of setting her at ease. And I’d never heard this song of hers before coming across this video! So beautiful!
Can’t get over Sharon almost falling off the couch though 😂 it’s cute though because you can tell she did it because she realized that they were kinda crowding Lana, and Lana seems to immediately relax afterwards.
Love Sharon’s cover of Summertime Sadness, but I also hear a lot of influence from it in My Indigo-particularly Star-Crossed Lovers. The melodies have some very similar parts.

Simon Nnb she’s been around since 2011 lol. Pretty sure that’s more than 5 years now. She may not be on t.v all the time and selling a lot of albums like Taylor Swift and others, but she has such a huge hardcore fan base. Also many more popular artist have said that she’s a legend and has inspired them in many ways. She’s an icon that created her own lane in the music industry. The crazy part is that she gains new fans every day all over the world. Reason being is because once people discover her and listen to her music, 99% of them fall in love and become fans.
