Based on Ronnie's looks alone, he would of been very popular and it would have deservedly raised New Edition's popularity stock but the industry didn't care at all for the greatest boy group New Edition.
I thought Ricky made a silly comment about Ron being the "tall, light skinned one that all the girls liked." I don't know why he had to bring complexion into it. Besides, Ronnie is not even light skinned, he's brown skinned, although he's the lightest one in the group. Ralph is darker than Ronnie and probably had even more girls liking him. But on another note, I didn't know that Ronnie aspired to be a model. 😁 When we heard Ralph allude to that in the movie, it sounded funny. And to hear Ronnie actually say it makes it even funnier. But, Ralph and Ronnie were always my favorites in New Edition. 😊
