If I remember correctly, it's because his father was in the American Army and was stationed here in Norway.

@@flokedoke533 there’s a lot of reasons, but mostly because there is not nearly as much corruption in the government as there is in the US.
Also they have free healthcare and college too.

We got our N64 when I was around 8. It was the Jungle Green one that came with a free copy of DK64. Still have it to this day!

Dude, hold onto that thing for as long as possible. Those Funtastic systems are awesome. I’m a teenager looking to get into older systems and I wanted to find a Grape Purple one because I really like purple, but they’re super expensive so I settled for a gray one.
@@schawangus miner has seen better years. the reset button is permanently stuck in, some cereal fell on it a few months ago leaving white spots and dusty as all get out. Still functions though :D

I remember spending hours trying to figure out what to do in this game when I was a kid. The memories of getting stuck on certain levels are so nostalgic!

Y’all so lucky, mine’s a little worse than Nathaniel’s cuz I was only limited to play games in the weekends back when I was a kid. Like every Mondays, when I start school (obviously), my parents woulda always taken away my games, my tablet away, when I came back home, so I can focus on school. I was addicted with games and honestly believed that I thought that games will be my life forever. Luckily, they were trying to taught me to be responsible with education and have a better future. They did and I’ve gotten good grades throughout my school years but I think somewhere when I was in high school, my parents stopped taking away my games because they realized that I’m already a grown man and I don’t need any disciplines anymore. They were still impressed with my grades and at the time when I was 16, I barely play games because I was more focusing on school and I’ve gotten more social around people and eventually got a girlfriend. Now, im 20 years old, my girlfriend broke up with me, and I only have a few friends. I got accepted into college and only have like 2 more years to get my Art Bachelor’s degree. I still play games to this day but I mostly play with friends instead of solo.
@@jestersb- ah don’t worry, I’ve dated about 3 girls in the past and I’ve gotten over it with you know, as I’m currently single, I’m okay for now. It was fun while it lasted.
@@jestersb- well I started playing games first time around late 1990’s-early 2000’s and my parents were against with video games because back in the days, I believed most parents hated their children playing video games for hours and worried that it’s bad for their eyesight by just staring at the TV too much, something like that. I’m pretty sure it’s even worse now but my parents had that feeling with video games, so that’s why they limited me to only play in the weekends even though I kinda spent countless hours in the weekends without my parents knowing lol

I remember my first time with mario 64 I was 7 or 8 I grow up with playstation but I went over to my uncle and aunts and they had a n64 he give me the weird controller and I remember walking about the castle and bob bomb battlefield for the first time just having pure fun running around it felt free
This video actually taught me how to get that star in the bab bomb battlefield
I never had an n64 but my uncle did and I enjoyed every second of it. I would always share it with family on games like super Mario Kart and smash bros
I used to have that game when I was 5-6 years old I remember that game..
I used to have half an hour a day. T'was really rough especially with GameCube when almost every nintendo game had to have some cutscenes.
I remember when I first watched your “How Super Mario 64 is Mind Blowing” video, you said Mario 64 was your favorite game ever. Which made me question why because it’s not the best Mario game, but I just rolled with it because I knew nostalgia existed which is why I love the games I love too. And then Nathaniel talked about his childhood in his video about the N64. And then it all made sense. I loved this story so much Nathaniel.

I was never really limited to how long I could play video games, unless it was the Wii because my Sister wanted to play or my parents wanted to have neighbors over to play Wii Sports or if anyone wanted to watch TV.

I just bought a Nintendo 64 and it arrived yesterday with Soddy Kong racing and smash
now that i think about it, every game was like a puzzle when there was no internet

As a gen Z, I had the Nintendo DS with Mario 64 DS for my childhood, at the age of 6.
I was disappointed that the game started with Yoshi, but I didn't minded the D-Pad and movements.
I loved the additional characters and the 150 stars.
Then I started to play Mario 64 (the N64 version) at the age of 8, and I liked it more because of the Art-Style and Texture filter, I also discovered the Rom-Hacks thanks to Mario Star Road, it was great.
Cool animation Bandy! Your skills are really improving! Maybe call up Pixar or something? ;)

I remember getting monster hunter 4 ultimate when i was 10, i got so angry at gypceros's flashbang attack and then my friend just told me "dude just press r while looking at him" turns out the greatsword's block attack blocks almost everything

SM64 is a timeless classic. I first played it on an emulator, back then i already had a Wii with SMG and even though i love that game too, there is just something so special about SM64.
It became my favorite game instantly, i even got a n64 after just to be able to play it on its original console.
