Ray Parker Jr, Frankie Beverly, George Benson, and many many more. The mid/late 70s was just awesome.! Great unforgetable songs and memories.! My gosh…
@@11dsw I was actually referring to the group's musical genre as they had been known for. You can listen to Get Down, Rock On, Hot Stuff, For Those Who Like To Groove, Is This a Love Thing for the raw funk of Raydio. This song is more like a blend of r&b, soul, disco with a pop base.
This is one baaaaaaad JAM!!!! The bass is SICK!!!!! That's one killer groove. A testament to Ray Parker Jr.'s talent. Raydio nailed it. Roller skating days.

I've loved Ray Parker since the late 70's ... but as time marches on ... I love this song more and more. Definitely one of my very favorite of his. Doesn't hurt that I can sing it pretty damn well too!
I've always thought, even since I first bought the 'Rock On' album in 1979 that this came from, that in the intro when the electric guitars kick in, it sounds like 'Night Fever' especially the when the vocals start in that ("Listen to the ground , there is movement all around"...). Is it just me?
