So with me being a slightly new player and not only know nothing about Vest types besides knowing the Plate Carrier is the better one. All this time playing I would drop my stab vest for a field or hunter vest as I assumed it gave me slight more protection and my thought because it says “stab vest” I assumed it had high resistance from blade weapons and not bullets! So I would always drop it! Well safe to say I won’t be dropping it for the Field or Hunter anymore as I was always wonder why I die so fast when wearing those Vest! That also explains when I go to good tier loot areas they’re infested with people with Stab or Ballistic vest players and I’m wondering around with my field vest getting uncon almost immediately whilst they’re probably wondering why a guy who has good loot is walking around with basically no protection! 😂 great video and thank you for making me understand to leave certain vest on the ground and respect the stab vest 😂
It comes down to whether you want extra inventory or not. Early on you might not know what you're getting into so the extra slots are nice and the protection isn't as important. But if you're going into PVP territory, I'd prefer the protection. Cuz like the video said, you'll wind up mid battle dropping bags and that's not helping you out.
Bizarre and insane that the tac assault and field give zero damage reduction. Wow that makes zero sense
It makes perfect sense actually… they are just fabric. They add extra space slots and more hot bar options but serve no actual protection. How’s that not make sense?
@@AEK-og lemme just grab my ASSAULT VEST for extra room and my TACTICAL VEST for something that’s just extra space
@@rustypotatos …not all vests are armor or can carry armor. I mean hell, the US didn’t even use actual body armor in their tactical kits till the early 80s. This game is based in a Slavic state. A lot of it would be Soviet era shit so yea, it make’s perfect sense
@@rustypotatosGood luck running long distance with plate carriers. We (Poland) started using them in 2000s and still our basic equipment are tactical vests for magazines,IFAK, etc. without plates.

I’m sure the Tac vest got an armor rating since 1.22 because I was double shot by a double barrel with bird shot almost point blank range and I just tanked both rounds… if not guess I was just lucky then 🤷♂️

If you are wearing a vest and it has armour protection (AP) rating, will it also prevent damage to items carried in the vest? If so, does it also drop the damage taken by each item accordingly by AP rating?. Presumably this damage reduction somehow scales with vest condition (Pristine, worn, damaged, badly damaged, ruined) - or is it 100% transferred protection then 0% at ruined?

I know this is off topic but is it possible to make a building of my own and have it spawn items inside that custom made building like any other? On Console btw. new editor 😭
i think on console you cant jusing a editor or make own buildings just on pc
