Yeah, Nico actually knows a lot more than I thought he did - I thought he was all show and no knowledge but I'm happy to be proven wrong by this video.
I love Nico's channel and find his content extremely entertaining, however, I think we need more of this Nico.... calm, collected discussion about watches and his passion for them.
I started watching Nico during covid. Always a class act. A perfect example of someone who is humble no matter the fame or fortune. Cheers to you brother
@@valebliz he’s rough around the edges but he’s Dutch Irish. Not known for their subtlety 😂 Other than that he’s not a bad guy or anything and he’s very inclusive and inviting, which is super important in the watch world which is highly exclusive and elitist
I loved Nico already, but now I see him as well....Nico. This brought to light Nico as a person more than anything. His collection is amazing and I can't wait to see the next installment of his collection. He showed his true self in this and I especially appreciate the sentiment about his grandfather and his mother. I also recently lost my mother and my grandfather so it really hits home for me. Thank you for this video, on many different levels 🙏 🙏
This version of Nico is unreal! I love the hopped up hyper crazy guy we’ve all come to know but this video showed his passion like never before. True god tier stuff!
I have one myself and like it plenty. But absolutely it’s not the same tier as Rolex. Often they are better quality, but far more fragile and depreciate by half the second you pay the bill.
Wow that collection is absolutely incredible! Not even because of the AP but because of all the heart and soul that went into it. Not just Rolex Rolex Rolex instead you see actually passion! To me that is why Nico does so well in the watch community.
Nico was emotional and came across differently than I have ever seen before. Thanks for showing your collection, I love the AP well done. Hope you both have a great future.
Looking at Nicos collection, it shows that he is a true watch collector. He is such a likable person and ive met him before and he had all the time in the world for everyone that approached him for a chat about watches. That's why his channel is so successfull along with the entertain value of his content. Class.
I can’t finish watching many of Nico’s videos but I really do like how he comes off when interviewed by others. Seems like a bright, empathetic, and largely down-to-earth person. I’ll have to give his work another go. Thanks for showing us the other side him.
I love Nico, he's genuinely the nicest guy you'll ever talk to and a true enthusiast. Seriously cannot say enough good things about him and I enjoy watching his success. Best interview so far Marko, thanks!
Great seeing Nico & his collection of watches , But hearing him talk about his family & life was inspiring Peace to you & your family Nico 🙏 Happy New Year Marco & Everyone & God Bless 🕊️
I would love to see Nico do some watch restoration videos on occasion. I know his schedule is mad, but it would be grand to see him return to his roots as it were and bring another aspect to his channel
Watching this while cleaning my house,, this week been wanting to organize and protect my watch collection of 6 watches 😊,, this is a great presentation of watches and the depth of people passionate about watches and history
That's the side of Nico we don't see that often, the calmer, more relaxed Nico, that just talks about what he loves the most with some nice insights and life stories
The way Marko puts the watches down and then moves them in the best position for us to see and to show them. Just makes you realise how much he loves watches. And Nico is such a genuine guy. ❤️
What an episode Marko and Nico.. simply incredible! One gets to see how passionate Mr. Nico Leonard is and and how much he does for this community. I wish both of you and everyone who is reading this a blessed start into 2023.
Best Nico video I’ve seen. So passionate about his collection and the Comex Sea-Dweller is special, never seen an example that clean before. Great video to get me motivated for 2023 🎉
Great video, great collection, great conversation! Congrats Nico for all your success and congrats Marko for your success as well!! All the best in 2023!
Grandfather’s heirloom hands down best piece of the collection. The beauty of a naturally faded dial is impossible to reproduce artificially. Even if it was semi-possible, it wouldn’t age beautifully.
I came across nicos channel many yrs ago and ive been subscribed to his channel ever since. Always watching his videos. Even though im not a watch person but seeing nicos passion when he speaks about the topic makes me want to listen. Ive learned alot about watched by just watching his videos even though ill probably never afford a rolex or any luxury watch, i will always keep watching his videos! What a legend 👏
A really nicely put together interview which brought out Nico's real humanity. Seems like a genuinely nice guy and hugely knowledgeable. His success is truly well deserved.
Nico is a legend and I love his devotion for making watches exciting for people at every level. I bought a Casio because of him and I love it and take pride in wearing it because Nico says that even a $50 watch can be God Tier. Keep doing you!
I really loved this interview and appreciate so so much all of the stories bounded to this beautiful collection of watches, Nico really impressed and moved me to commotion with his words, entering Watch world more positively influenced than ever, thank you!
The best thing about Nico is that he's not afraid to speak his mind and tell you exactly what he thinks. This attitude is what is needed in this day and age. Everyone is used to enabling people and sugarcoating facts that need to be spit out directly.
Marko, what a great video. Loved seeing a less hyper Nico discussing watches. And yes, I know it’s all about marketing on his channel. But, you really drew the stories out from him, allowing him the space to share what’s really important about each watch for him. Thank you!
Idk why, is searched for NICO's watch collection on youtube for the first time ever.. (Coz he said he only has 18 watches in his collection which intrigued me) And after 30mins, i get recommended this video🙆🙆🙆🙆
At some point in time it would be interesting as a topic to see Nico actually repair a watch. Joking aside this is where the passion for watches began, and it would be really interesting to see him repair one.
Wow, this video was great. Nico being more calm, sharing stories, sharing his hopes and dreams regarding his family. Super nice. I also wouldn't have known his collection was THIS insane. I thought maybe his panda AP was his biggest piece but it's definitely not lmao
Great stuff. We did see that 1 of 1 AP on a previous interview on RUclips. Unfortunately the camera didn't focus on it well. This is a much better view of it. Beautiful stories & watches.
Great Video Marko👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Nico's Comex SeaDweller is from 1992, but the the crown laser engraving started at 2002 and Nico's watch has the crown in the glass☝🏻
I absolutely love nico and his channel and everything he does there, but it was fun seeing him in a more relaxed video and talking a bit more serious about the watch world. He really does seem like a class guy
I have a g-steel 400 series and the way they managed to incorporate the ethos and look of a G-Shock and still manage to make it feel and shine like a luxury watch. I f'ing love it. Nice to know my watch has been derived from such a juggernaut in the watch industry.

Yeah Nico really cracked the code on his RUclips channel success and views, but as a result, we never see him keeping it real and not his YT personna
That was awesome!
I think the biggest shocker to me was not the gorgeous AP’s and Patek, but the fact that Nico owns a Grand Seiko 😂
