Got through first project automating and having to do some custom dev work... Then realized even though I can "do" the dev work it's not the best use of my time. I'm more of a vision guy. I'll play with new tech, understand how it works, architect solutions and then... I'm the bottleneck because I can't finish the work fast enough when I could be getting more clients and solving more problems.
So maybe have a team or outsource the the technical work to a 3rd party & you can focus on sales/closing deals.
Have the exact same issue. I book calls, network and make content way more efficiently than doing the back end work

I learnt from this is having product or service isn't enough u have to know how to get clients and knowing their problem and giving them to solutions The business will only make money with solving the clients problems not by chasing money. Understand business first then create a service
