    Why didn't he do as many reps with his upper body?

      he trained legs only twice a month so basically he was reaching the volume minimum per week in those two sessions. Remember that weekly, you need "x" amount of sets and reps per muscle group, but because he did legs every two weeks, the session had double the sets and reps of what you would expect from 1 week's worth.

      Because the lower body needs more reps ....not sets to activate more muscle fibres than the upper body.

    I gave myself a cluster headache trying to do 20-rep sets of squats with moderate weight. Most painful thing I've ever experienced. Now I have near-constant migraines and have to take medication to be able to function. Know your limits, fam.

      If thats most painful thing you been threw in life ur blessed. Once you experience real pain an come back from it you live for those days under thr squat rack were you pass out afterwords. Its lke ur new drug
