*CORY, CORY, CORY - what have you done? As if YOU weren't GREAT before, NOW you come around with this new TOY TO THE WORLD* !!! As I'm still trying things with the *ROLAND I bought from KEVIN SOLECKI* Carry on you guys, best to you & wish I was younger! Look forward to more SOUNDS from you guys! THANKS!!!
@@markmccoy1304 Thank You Mark!! Just Trying really. And by the way, Kevin at Carnegie Accordions is actually selling the KORG’s WITH my Sets On Them as part of the price.
@@CPez YES! I saw you (RUclips) with *KEVIN* and it was great & I replay it to see & hear the impact. KEVIN is quite the ACCORDIONIST & wish we could hear more of him, from him and *YOU TOO for that matter* !!! Thanks to all who keep the ACCORDION still ALIVE! Henry
Nice video Cory. Once they show up for test plays at the dealerships I will give one a play as a possible addition to my 8X Dallape which is now 10 years old. I downloaded the manual and it looks like some nice features. The bellows response seems to be improved over the Roland... even closer to a good accoustic accordion. Have you actually weighed one WITH all straps on? Also what is distribution of that weight... more like the 7x rather than the 8x which has the center of mass farther out from the body. Since i mostly play sitting down I have no issues with the 8x but it is not as good for standing as the 7x.Miss seeing and hearing you playing here in Michigan.
@@RobertKarlBerta Well get me a gig and I’ll be out there tonite! Haha, always love coming up there. Well you’ll be happy to know, that the KORG is 4.5 Points Lighter than the 8X! We weighed them all! 7X is still still 2.5 points heavier too. And also, Kevin at Carnegie Accordions is actually selling the KORG’s WITH my Sets On Them as part of the price.
@CPez Thanks Cory! That Korg is amazing. Wonder if Roland will try to up their game to compete? Competition is good for advancing technology and keeping price down.
@ I can’t IMAGINE a company that made basically no money over 20 years in a field they NEVER showed any true care for, would get motivated when another company came into it, to start up a new project.
@@glennmiller9508 It DOES! Just not in the way the 8X did. It’s more like your own personal Recording Studio, where you can keep overdubbing, and if you screw one up, you can go back.
Hey Corey, what do you think of the keyboard quality on the new korg? I have a fr8x and I can't get over the plasticky rattly feel of the right hand keys. Thanks in advance, friend!
@@MarioBruneau You are the ONLY person I’ve spoken to on the phone, talked to online, commented, or shown in person to say it. So there Is a medal 🎖️ for this I guess 😆
the problem is that we want the instrument to be as light as possible, and Korg copied the heavy weight of the accordion first of all. Problem 2. In Australia, there is no chance to try the quality of the buttons on the accordion. All these violins, organs and pipes can be used on a synthesizer for a reasonable amount of money and even with accompaniment. Roland sold accordions with a terrible keyboard. I would like to try korg and feel all this somewhere. So, you are advertising a cat in a black bag.

Wow that was cool.😊
Best demo yet! Thanks so much! Do you think they will eventually build 37/96 or something smaller than the full size?
They are! Should be out in 3 months; And it’s 100% For Sure, as the Manual for this HAS the smaller one in there 🎉
@ Awesome news, thank you so much and keep up the great demos on the Korg!
