Love how you can now show instructions on Windows that very helpful for PC Users like myself
As a W7 user, it is great to see the dual platform demo + new Dotto Tech website - Thanks
You could also use the inspect option after highlighting a phrase and right clicking it. It may take some digging, but you'll eventually find it!
Thanks for, once again, for converting the mysterious to the doable. What a guy! One thing you didn't mention is the huge memory taken up by fonts on your hard disk and operating system. So be judicious. Only install fonts you think you'll use, since Windows, for instance, already has mucho fonts, all of which take memory.
Thanks for explaining this! I've wanted to do this for a long time but had no idea how.
This is amazing. Steve, thank you so much for this information and good luck with your site.
Thanks Edwin!

Steve, new site look great! Question: are you still using Themify? If not, what company and theme is it? Looking to redo my site and am totally overwhelmed by the amount of themes available.
+Carlos Ronisky Yes I am using themify (Use my affiliate link! ) I used the Ultra theme.

Great thanks!
New site looks impressive!! Thanks for Fonts tip.
Question: I have seen some video"s on the topic "God Mode" or "Everything Mode". I would like to install this, but for some reason unbeknownst to me I cannot get to install. I'm running windows 7 home premium. Do you have any ideas?
+Danny Mc phee Thanks for the feedback, and no I am not familiar with those windows settings although it sounds suspiciously like "SuperUser"
Once again a great video, when we download a Font to our computer and use it on a website will that font appear on the user's screen or will its visibility be dependent on the fonts they have installed on their computers and therefore on their screens it will change to a default system font
+John Garghan It will depend on a lot of factors. System fonts will not show, only web fonts. but that is also dependant on the theme and how it handles the fonts.....all in all a pretty confusing situation.
+dottotech Thanks for the quick follow up. I generally play very safe with fonts so thta I dont get unwanted conflicts, I guess its all down to testing and keep on testing
i see you're back to using LastPass. :D
+Steve Fernandes Actually I use BOTH. I want to stay up on what each does etc.
If your method doesn't identify a font, Steve, I've had great luck with the folks in the DaFont forums. Just send a snippet of the font you are trying to identify and the members do an excellent job of finding it for you, even the obscure ones. There is a guy on there from Argentina with a wealth of knowledge, he's helped me several times. www.dafont.com/forum/
+Jan Cruser Such a cool suggestion, a lot more fun, but not as immediate! Thanks for sharing.
Does this work with XP? I've installed the extension but when I go to Font Squirrell an select a font, download it, open it, there is no 'install' option. The only option I get is 'done'. Thanks Steve.
+Rick Mortimer To add a new font to your computer
1.Open Fonts in Control Panel.2.On the File menu, click Install New Font.3.In Drives, click the drive you want.4.In Folders, double-click the folder that contains the fonts you want to add.5.In List of fonts, click the font you want to add, and then click OK.To add all of the listed fonts, click Select All, and then click OK.
My dad is also working on websites and it had the same scrolling effect yours has so I'm guessing you are running Joomla and that is a Themler Theme
+Patrick Allen No, actually, Wordpress running a Themify Theme
close enough
The link to your website is broken because of the exclamation point. Just saying
+Damien Merali Thanks, fixed!
Are you using Studiopress/Genesis Framework's Parallex theme? You've done a lot of modifications with sliders and all, But I just ran a WebPageTest.org speed test on your home page. From the Dulles server, your site is loading in 10-11 seconds! Yikes. www.webpagetest.org/result/160213_V4_QH9/ - You'll certainly want to use CloudFlare or another CDN, plus optimize your images, CSS, javascript, etc. to accelerate your site. Mobile page downloads, especially need work. Good luck!
+Brian Prows Awesome advice, I will do that! I am using Themify Ultra, theme, but I am going to work on those images ASAP!
Great! I find reducing memory size first using Dynamic Drive Optimizer, then scaling within WordPress, followed by cropping, produces the optimum image memory reduction. Using WebPageTest.org, you can further identify images that cause web page slow downs in both desktop and mobile from dozens of worldwide servers. CloudFlare is the best CDN/Internet protection service I've used. Even the free version produces remarkable results. Keep on keeping on, my friend.
+Brian Prows Thanks Brian, we are working on it now, got the cache and some image optimization on, educating myself on CDNs I appreciate the advice!
