Bass frequencies are omnidirectional, you don't have to point the speaker to the listener.

I see those subwoofers for free from time to time. What king of amp could they be turned into? Watt rang?

I could look up the part # and get a spec but I'd guess 40 watts per channel.

Fricken hilarious. You have the unit open and the wire going to the speaker/driver is like it is 22 or 20 AWG wire yet audiophiles ("audio fools") think that buying monster cable for speaker wires makes the system sound better.
