Comment section really goes to show rhythmic gymnastics/ gymnasts, ballet/dance, skating, etc. we’re all connected in the stretching world ❤️ Girl you kill it!! 🤸♀️😍 You inspired to get up and stretch at 12:30 am 😂❤️
I used to be naturally flexible so I thought but I would stretch and train 16+ hours a week, I’m 23 now lost nearly all my flexibility after probably 6 years of not doing anything but stretching just a few hours a week already makes a big difference :) if you want it go for it! You can do it! I take pictures of my splits and tilts week to week to stay motivated and see improvements 😊
Hello Sophie, I am wondering if your knee pads are comfortable because the knee pads I currently have a very rough and it is hard to bend my knees in them. 😊
Thanks! It's actually doing much better now!! I'm able to do most elements in my routine again (except for MG balance and split arch jumps) but I'm just working on regaining my back flexibility now 🥰
you are very good I have been practicing rhythmic gymnastics for 10 years and I would like to be as loose as you. I would like to ask you in one of your next videos could you explain how to do the exercise more or less at minute 4:35 with the chest strap?😍❤
I do some exercises with that elastic in my penche turn and penche balance tutorials, so you can check those out in the meantime but I can definitely do more in the future! Just keep working hard and be consistent with your stretching, you can do it!
Thank you! I dont use ankle weights currently but I have used them in the past :) sometimes I'll hold them in my hands when I'm doing turns to help generate more power
I dont think that should stop you from working towards your goals. If you're really passionate about it, give it a try, you never know what you might achieve! (btw there are some gymnasts who are in their late 20s that are still competing so I wouldn't say you're too old) :)
@@SophieCrane thank u for that! I will do a experiment class today. I feel kind of dumb to be around a lot of kids who has a lot more ability than me. I wish i could reach the elite level and I will try
how many hours did you practice ? lol i hope im not the only one training for 8 or 9 hours a day since schools are closed, btw totally loved the video and the trailer
@em ! you dont sound ignorant at all😂 we started 2-3 hours a day when i was little and slowly the time limit grew, when we started preparing for the European championships i was so stressed and all of my body parts started hurting (we only had one break wich was 20-25 minutes). We were doing our routines 20-40 times. it was very hard but absolutely worth it🤍 now we are having a 12 day break and it feels amazing ❤️
@@cozyari4521 awww thanks! I have a few tutorials about clubs here! (There's a playlist on my channel) and I'm planning on making some more in the future :)
i started when i was 7! when it comes to people starting later in their lives, i always say it won't be easy but it's definitely something that is possible if you're passionate about the sport and are ready to work hard. and also try your best not to compare yourself to others especially when starting out, cause there are gonna be people that have been training since they were like 3. just focus on you and your goals. best of luck!
No ahahha it's just a move I've been doing in some of my other videos (that I took from someone from umbrella academy 😅) that I now put in my routine lol
those are very extreme scenarios that hopefully are not too common in other countries. fortunately i didn't have that kind of experience growing up in rg. yes there is still some pain in stretching, but nothing like those videos. i think a little bit of discomfort (not necessarily pain) is good because you're pushing yourself a little further than what is comfortable :)
ahh yes i had the same problem when i was training. one thing i like doing is putting a stretching band over your pointed toes and push into the band. this is a really bad explanation lol but that exercises and more exercises for your feet are in this video: ruclips.net/video/OyvYmIKrVHM/видео.htmlsi=MWK9LrZ2nTUf1XkJ hope this helps! ❤️
Do you do your splits everyday? By the way I love your leggings so much! Where’d you get them from? I want to get the same exact leggings as you! :) 😊❤️😍

I'm really big on eating a balanced and healthy diet, but I must say I love my sweets 🥰 I work with a nutritionist to make sure I'm fueling properly for training and meeting my nutrition goals, which has been very helpful.
do u have any good brands for hoops and ball i checked the venturelli ones but there are no balls and the hoops aren't really what im looking for but my clubs rope (btw im 13 so i still do rope lol) are from venturelli
I've always used sasaki balls, I think it's many peoples' preference as well :) regarding hoops, I know sasaki, chacott, pastorelli all sell them as well. i've been using venturelli for the past few years but before that my hoops were from a brand called romsport!
