God I miss this kinda music. Long Live Si. Paul
This band restored my faith in new music!
I'm speechless... Best MUSIC I've heard since riding in my dad's fleetwood brougham listening to 8 tracks in the early 80's! Sam Cooke, Al Green etc.... Keep up the good work boys
What a gift from NPR! These guys need to come to Chicago! I want to hear them at Buddy guys!
Evanston SPACE 5/30. Tix on sale Friday 3/28.
They opened for John Mayer last night in Tuscaloosa. They were outstanding!!! I would love to see them go "big".

Watched this group perform for the first time yesterday on CBS Saturday morning show. Love their sound and style. I am hooked!!! These guys are awesome ... will buy their CD!!!!
Soothing southern soul.....beautiful....awesome band...so great to see such young men carrying it forward.....play on gents! Play on!
This brought me back to the blues. Don't thing I'll stray again.

I have fallen in love with this song.
I have fallen in love with this band.
Wow they certainly do not leave anything on the table when they perform. Awesome..
Heaven just put this mans stardust in my eye's. Tears of joy on the high rise of my broken soul.
A great respect for forefathers. A real deal presentation. Thanks.
So them last night in Arlington VA amazing, fantastic … did not have enough at the end, could have staid there for hours !
Their music takes me back--------------I'm 18 again!!!!
Best showcase set ever in the history of showcases.
This is my favorite version of the song
they are nerdy but some fine music coming from these young men. So nice to hear brass and a good drummer. I'm really an old Wilson Pickett and Elmore James fan. I think these guys rock!
Thanks for the reply :) I am putting you guys on my "must watch" list! Come back home soon!
The bass line makes my knees go weak.... o__o
I love his move’s” Nothing wrong with pocket change…❤️ cutest

They are my favorite new artist. I wish they would come to cleveland!
when i saw them a couple days ago, it was just guitar, drums, bass, trumpet, trombone, and incredible vocals.
Thank you MusicCityRoots - gotta check this band out.
That's one badass band! Paul Janeway has changed the face of Southern Soul music.
When music consumes you and takes over. Doesnt get much better
Can't get enough of these guys!! Just fantastic!!!!!
Omg I love his talent. I want to see him in concert asap.....I love it. Soooo unique......
ive got some videos from that show. SO AWESOME!!! Met the whole band and they were so down to earth and cool
He's channeling somebody.
I'd say Otis Redding. He died far too young and we got some of him back with this guy.
+John Peloquin o agree
soooooo good!!!!! I yust love it! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw these guys live a few nights ago. They were amazing.
Love that group and that song broken bones and pocket change would love to meet them in person did I say that I think that song is great jb
I believe that a vocal duet with Janis would have moved my soul.
today my first time to hear the band and really like
Amazing show
Went to tuscaloosa to see john mayer, left with admiration for this band! Incredinle vibe!
AMAZING............! you better get on this....sooooooo cool!
His voice is enchanting.
Best new band ever
Leave race out of it. It's only about who has soul, and who doesn't.
That's right, Sis.
I love his epic soul screaming.
Go Jesse!!! Yer' band ROCKS:)

They totally have a new fan right here.

So damn good.
I seen them 11/19/13 at Zanzibar in Louisville. They tore the house down.
you are a star
I find a lot of St. Paul and The Broken Bones videos out there, but they are all on different accounts. I'd like to suggest that the group put out their own videos on their own account. Yes, I'm being selfish. It's because I want to have one account I can subscribe to for my Broken Bones fix.
Dang every video is as good or better than the last
J'adore
loveit!!!!!
He's amazing to be unsaid but the band is fucking!!!tight.
Y'all should check out their Facebook page or twitter! They release songs and show dates on there. Great band!
That's All She Left Me With!
Goodness gracious me oh my. Have they been hanging out with The Alabama Shakes?
Actually, yes. Ben Tanner produced the album.
Wow!
Amazing like watchingJanice
The lead singer, Paul Janeway is my cousin :)Paul if you see this it's JJ
They are from Birmingham! If you're referring to the comment immediately below, I read it wrong the first time, also. OP said "best to come to" not "best to come from".
Give the man a dignified pose in the thumbnail!
Sounds like a sample beat from Al Greens "For The Good Times". They just found a new fan.
reminds me of mick hucknall 20 years ago!
great Drummer!
nice to see traditional blues and soul make the scene.......they've addd a sax since this, right?
Bow ties are cool!
I like to think of them as James Brown meets Blood, Sweat and Tears!
He's clearly channeling Otis Redding.
Ear-gasm: The moment when you realize that all of the music you heard before was just "warming/picking you up" for the end.
sing on brother...
WUAUUUUU. ES MEJOR QUE LA ANTERIOR.!!!!!!!!!!
Perform at the Apollo
dude's got some major stage presence.
is that the sicko from True Detective on vocals??? I think so.
Go White boy! GO!!
Does anyone know where I can find their CD ' broken bones and pocket change?
Possessed by al green wowwww
Baddest White Boy Around ●☆●
Crazy ,hes like the white Al Green.
The intro sounds too much like Chicago's 'Color my World' . It makes me angry but that is probably because Chicago's first 5 albums mean so much to me.
Not even close!
thwt it was young chunky lyndsey graham singin lol
I thought they were from Birmingham....
ear candy
Wow! I could have sworn the singer was black.
:/
Nerdiest soul band I have ever seen.
try listening with your ears and not your eyes :-)
Mike DiCiero It wasn't an insult. Just an observation. Try listening with both some time. It makes it better.
Mike DiCiero
I only listen with my heart. Ears just get in the way.
jonjevon hearts dont listen they just pump blood to your body. Ugly metaphors just get in the way
Jorge Orozco Sorry, I don't use my eyes to listen so I can't hear you over this thumping in my chest.
I feel like he's got so much talent and soul but he's pushing too hard, trying to force it and misses pitch or time
Pitchy as fuck.
lol sarcasm is great isn't it
dance moves to the music, complete rip off of James Brown
Emulation of a legend is not a rip off. James Brown changed what we expect from music- thus anyone who plays hence has to incorporate what James Brown created to be real- it's a matter of respect for James Brown and his work.
