No.The Lumix S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. Lens from Panasonic is a telephoto zoom lens designed for full-frame format L-mount camera bodies. The Panasonic Lumix GH6 Mirrorless Camera has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount. >Mark
Idk but I've tested The Sigma 70-200 2.8 vs the Panasonics and the 24-70 Mii vs Panasonics and Panasonic beat them both. More contrast, sharpness and better bokeh. Sigma won on weight and close focusing. distance. I went with the Panasonic.
Already popular L Mount.... not so much, but who cares. How many lenses can a person carry and use anyway. Yet, With the S5 and kit lens this 70-300 is a beautiful completion lens. Add to it all a couple of adapters and vintage lenses for creativity and boom... you are in business.
I have the Panasonic Lumix G9 with the Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens. It has all the same features as the one in this presentation, except I'm not sure if it is Macro shot capable?
@@3DEditor There are design limitations and due to the increased range the macro feature would not be considered for a 100-400mm m4/3 lens. That is what I was referring to
It's a slow seller (but a very good camera). I bought one on an incredible offer new, with a prime lens. I am using all my FD "vintage" lenses with great results so far. This (70-300mm) is the only zoom lens from the S series consider buying in the future.
Lumix S5 + Lumix 20-60 + 70-300 + 85 F1.8 i mamy super komplet. Ale nie zapomnijcie o Lumixie G9 + Leica 100-400. Teraz mamy pełny wypas.
My next lens.
Could this lens use with a teleconverter?
No

Will it work on the Gh6

How is the Sigma 100-400 on L-mount?

Nice looks like a solid lens for Lumix. Good job BH
1:10 People that grasp their lenses like that should be in prison. No mercy!

Luckily you can take photos and see for yourself.
Correct the 100-400 cannot do macro photography
But the range equilivency is different to your lens. That plays a huge role.
@@jgaffney567 talking about same features on the lens, not focal range.

Why do reviewers associate lenses to the S5? LOL Its S line so intended for S cameras not S5 exclusively.

Nice & Thanks :)
