Ah, I've heard of this and been meaning to play it. It's on PS4, PC and Switch unbelievably (no idea about Xbox). One thing I do know is this is an indie project from a team of South Korean university students who just wanted to make something cool :D Kinda an inspiring story
It reminds me of old Phantasy Star games.

It's not a good spectator game. And constantly talking takes away the horror of it's atmosphere.
@@NathienSK Tbh I never really got the 'horror' aspect of it, to me it just felt like a gory 'everything wants you dead game'.
I do agree it's probably not the best suited for an edited RUclips series though, he'd probably do better streaming it

That's weird, the demo I played for PS4 for this ended right before you get the lightning blade. Glad to see you covering this game, really underated action game that actually makes weapon durability fun. Would love to see you play the full game, if you do turn on the dub. It's hilariously bad but has a unique charm to it, lol.
You should play Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, it would be good for a one-off and the sequel was just announced after 10 years of silence.

Man I learned so much about this game from your commentary. I really liked when you talked about " bom bom bom bom bom bom bom BOM bom" very insightful.
I bought this last year on a whim. May be the biggest example of a game being carried by its core gameplay I've ever seen. Everything else is pretty amateur but the action is so rock solid I had a great time regardless.
Isn't that the point of games anyways, it doesn't matter if it has a bad story if the gameplay is great.

@@theegg8621 i still feel the story has to be decent otherwise its just dumb or terrible haha but i get what you mean. imo games these days focus too much on 3 things. graphics (which i like graphics but when it removes core gameplay features or takes too much focus then no), story (to the point its basically a movie not a game) and microtransactions (which should not be in gaming imo)
@@yagmi6182 i feel like games nowadays just blow their loads in the story and graphics, but forget to make their gameplay polished and actually unique, like God Of War and RDR2, people played Mario64 and older games not because of their stories, but because the gameplay was actually unique and interesting, story should come last.

100% Devil may cry. Multiple weapons to switch from look like Nero with Nero's ability to use his arm and draw him near his enemies. And Nero's ability to dash towards his enemies. With a hint of Nier. The robots and the ability to pick up attachments that boost your HP and shiz. I like it . Two of my fav games
I played it on ps5. Its got the worst voice acting I've ever heard in a video game, but its actually super fun if you just wanna beat up monsters with a bunch of crazy swords. I actually finished it and enjoyed it

You should definitely check out Vampire Survivor, you basically play as the bullet hell boss against massive hordes of enemies, its fun and cheap
This feels A LOT like DMC 5. The character has a blue coat, swings a huge sword with one arm that resembles Nero's sword, has a grappling hook to bring him closer to enemies and runs/jumps just like him.

wow its like they took the Final Fantasy XV combat system and actually made it good with the different blades and combos you can pull out. And also improved the general flow and movement.

I can tell straight away that the devs were heavily inspired by games like Final Fantasy and probably Nier automata. Looks a bit like a mobile port but it honestly has a good amount of polish.

Why are these chinese/japanese games all the same? Why do they keep on making the hair like 15 years ago? Why always 3rd person view from behind, with a fkn huge sword, with epilectic movements, with rays, colors and dragons everywhere? Why do they stereotype themselves like this?
Maybe this game is fantastic, but I'm sorry, with this movements, sword slashes everywhere all the time it's impossible for me to even watch.

might be wrong, but getting lot of Phantasy Start MMO vibes with much more improved graphics and all
have the full game on switch. I liked it, its a bit on the short side but I think it is supposed to be, the gameplay is awesome, the story is meh leaves a lot of questions and vague world-building but definitely a good game to go to on the switch when you have some time to kill and just want to smash things. o and the English voice acting is cringy as hell.
