More than just a friend commissioner Gordon... because he's the hero gotham deserves the one this city needs.. he's a legend.. a silent guardian... a watchful protector.. A dark Knight!
Don’t know why they didn’t end the series with this score. They kept throwing in that leitmotif in certain parts of the series, particularly when characters were hinting at Bruce’s future. It’s only fair that they deliver on the hopes of fans. Hell, even Smallville ended the series with John Williams’ Superman theme in the last scene.
Gotham's theme for Bruce actually sounds similar to Danny Elfman's theme, that is why you heard it in previous scenes. They actually did use a slightly changed version of Bruce's theme for this scene. Having an original score helps tying the series together, making it feel like it still is the same Bruce you saw before the time jump.
The ending feels a lot better with Danny’s score than what they had. It was good, but it lacked that triumphant feeling the end titles had. The John Williams team for the Smallville finales final scene was powerful because it had that nostalgia that linked fans of the show to what’s to come. Danny’s score was needed for this very purpose.
Adam West: Old School and Nice Guy Bruce Wayne, Classic and Genuine Friendly Batman. Michael Keaton: Energetic and Strange Bruce Wayne, Triumfant and Dark Fantasy Batman. Christian Bale: Playboy and Ordinary Bruce Wayne, Good Detective and Strategy abilities Batman. Ben Affleck: Mysterious Charm and Cold Bruce Wayne, Serious intimitating and Brutal Combat Batman. David Mazouz: Good Boy and Wise Bruce Wayne, and Frustation darkness feeling of Batman. Robert Pattinson: Selfless and arrogant Bruce Wayne, Mindful Serious Dark and Detective Combat Batman. Kevin Conroy: The Voice of Bruce Wayne and Batman. Putting them all together and you have the definitive Batman.
I can't help but think the part with Bruce and Selina should have been done to "The Finale, Pt. II" from Returns (the part where Bruce finds the cat Selina left him).
Doing the right thing even at the same time it may not not be popular and some people may hate you for it, but always remember living by truth and justice principle will eventually pay off. It’s something I’ve faced before in the past. Batman was always my idol being that he was a symbol of the others who fought crime and corruption in the past and the ones who still today still fight crime and corruption. May GOD help us all and I hope and pray that I live and die truth and justice.
Since this would be his first year as Batman, of course his suit isn’t going to be as advanced as later ones. It fits in with the whole Batman: Year One concept.
This had me crying from just how perfectly it works. The emotional weight heightened by Danny Elfman’s sweeping score.
This is how Gotham should've ended with Danny Elfman's Original Batman Theme Score! This is more satisfying to me. Like Smallville's Ending!
Like how Smallville ended with John Williams’ Superman theme
Kkk vdd
Exactly
Or nolan theme song
More than just a friend commissioner Gordon... because he's the hero gotham deserves the one this city needs.. he's a legend.. a silent guardian... a watchful protector.. A dark Knight!
2:59 End Credits By Danny Elfman 1989
"Who is he?" "He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Dark Knight."
Matt Boesch
WHY DIDN’T GORDEN SAY THAT?!?!!!!! MAN THAY MISSED THAT OPPORTUNIT.
@@jacer445u5 the big missed opportunity is they didn't use the danny Elfman score!!!
"He is The Batman"
@@JuanCruz-jq9md well he wouldn't have known his name then
@@jacer445u5 Because they barely know each other and it’d be a long shot for him to say all that when they’ve known each other for s whole week
Danny Elfman's Score was perfect for the final scene in Gotham.

Gotham ends....and Batman Begins
I see what you did there!
“Now the real game begins....”
The legend begins...
Where is it?

This show was so underrated. Honestly I thought Season 5 was a bit of a mess but the shows was still great, I enjoyed every minute of it.
The ending feels a lot better with Danny’s score than what they had. It was good, but it lacked that triumphant feeling the end titles had. The John Williams team for the Smallville finales final scene was powerful because it had that nostalgia that linked fans of the show to what’s to come. The ending gave me chills I love Batman
Me too
THIS is the music that should’ve been playing at the end!
I love it!! Just like how smallville ended
How awesome was that? Gotham's great finale with Danny Elfman's legendary music score YEAH BABY!!
Thus was born The Batman, bold vigilante of the dark, brave guardian of the night, valiant crusader of Gotham, and fearless avenger of Justice.
I honestly told myself after watching the finale " imagine this with the Burton theme" thank you so much for this 🤘🤘🤘
It perfectly fits.good job
1:04 “There was no other way Selina. I had to go.”
Beautifully done. Great tribute.
2:36 A weeping angel
Don’t blink
2:32 More than a friend Alfred.. He's a silent guardian.. a watchful protector... A Dark Knight.
A masterpiece well done sir 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Okay, you were right: this is good. I don't know that I *prefer* it over Shirley Walker, but it is by far the best-done of the Elfman mixes I've seen.
Just goes to show that Batman only has one theme... Danny’s Theme!!
HAH. Shirley Walker did it better with Mask Of The Phantasm-
@@callumwarren3342 nah.
...nanananananana batman..
Nah
Jesus this made it actually amazing!
Great job man, this is so much better than the edit I made
Thanks!
Trivia: This is Danny Elfman’s score but Shirley Walker is the conductor.
Adam West: Old School and Nice Guy Bruce Wayne, Classic and Genuine Friendly Batman.

Val Kilmer was a great Batman.
Clooney was not good but at least his Bruce had good scenes with Alfred.
2:31 "I was waiting for him to come home" - Joker
I can't help but think the part with Bruce and Selina should have been done to "The Finale, Pt. II" from Returns (the part where Bruce finds the cat Selina left him).
Great job man!
Finale 😎👍🏽
Anyone else half expecting to hear this when the episode aired?
This or the Batman begins /dark knight Molossus Hans Zimmerman piece
This is awesome
My Favorite BATMAN is Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/ BATMAN
Music By Danny Elfman Theme Song BATMAN And BATMAN Returns
Batmobile
I prefer this slightly over the Zimmer
Awesome! Well done
Just wish Batman had better suit.
Now I’m satisfied, just like I was with Smallville
Gotham was quietly brilliant.
"Who is he?"
"The vengeance. The night."
I would pay serious money to have this replace the original score.
Nailed it!
Should have used Elfman theme at the very end. Would have been perfect
Man! Why didn't they end it like this?!
Can you do this with Batman Forever theme please
Hey, here’s an obscure one, how about the Telltale Batman theme song?
I know you made these edits a year ago, but would you be willing to do a Junkie XL edit using the Batman v Superman Batman theme?

Asi debio terminar la serie Gotham, con la musica final epica de batman 1989
What a missed opportunity
2:23 my favorite part
@raymondbrereton3298 "Who is he?" "A friend."
Personally, I would’ve liked to have seen him rise his cape out and he supposedly flies right in to the same building as they are
I assume legal issues regarding rights is why this theme could not be used
The timing was slightly off. If the crescendo had kicked in after Gordon said "A friend" it would've been perfect.
Thats how it should have ended!!!
Is the music towards the end changed? cz ig the one I saw was different
Who is he?
The dark knight
Sometimes from movie of the Batman
What i expected
It's not Batman without Danny Elfman or Shirley Walker.
I really hate how they made Batman's suit here. But the video is well done!
Quen es?
El caballero de la noche
Say something
There's no another way, Selina. I had to go.
Can you make the Hans Zimmer Socre?
Sure, it's ready for you here; ruclips.net/video/Qa3D1L2dsSs/видео.html
Why the fuck did they not use danny elfmans score at thee end of this series?!?!?!
Is that my girls izzie Stephens?
That batsuit is really crap. They should've made a better quality suit on the same level as the suits from the movies were made. This just looks lazy.
Or maybe your standards are to high
Since this would be his first year as Batman, of course his suit isn’t going to be as advanced as later ones. It fits in with the whole Batman: Year One concept.
