I finally had the strength to break up with my boyfriend I had an extremely unhealthy attachment to. He wasn’t respecting me, so in turn I wasn’t respecting myself staying. I finally ended it and I already feel so much more powerful 🙏🏼 I had to stop blocking my blessings 💕

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 5 months ago about self development. Now I have 328 subs and almost > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.
My people pleasing way to say no is “I’d love to but I can’t” or “I really want to but I cant”
I agree, that is much softer than just saying no

So helpful to hear all of these tips ❤ esspecialy the ones about setting boundaries and saying „no” - i would say, they are lifechanging because i had a therapy, i have a very wise friend, and i have never heard that the people pleasing could be manipulative. As a people pleaser, i found this point of view very unpopular but to the point!

Omg Alexis…. You are spot-on with the build up of resentment in the body. Letting go and standing in one’s power for me has become a path of trusting my body’s sacred guidance. Society has taught women to devalue their inner wisdom in hustle culture but it is actually about integrating both the masculine and feminine.

if people are mad at you for saying no and saving your time and energy, they neeeed to go. Every open minded person with self respect would also respect your answer. Put yourself first, even if they are mad at you, thats never gonna be your problem, just theirs. Value yourself, its gonna come really helpful one day

In the past years I overworked myself and I was only in my masculane energy that not only drained me out but also didn't work (in terms of making money). I normally don't have an issue with saying no so much now that I'm older, but now I have a friend who has asked me to be a bridesmaid and we know how emotional women get about that. Yikes. She did not take "no" for an answer the first time she asked me.

yes, you definitely touch on monetary value a lot. However, there are women all over the world who don't have access to the same resources as Americans (where I am, jobs are hard especially for women-working online is a farce to most even if they make little crafts etc to get by) and these women should not feel limited to develop their femenity

I wouldn't acknowledge it, he or she just wants a response and is willing to manipulate it out of you if you fold. So respect yourself and them and don't enable that behavior it will get better/ easier over time
What if you live with your mother-in-law and you can’t really get away from her ?
