i agree that talking mean about yourself can be harmful and that you shouldn’t focus too much on those things, but i also don’t know if we should keep them to ourselves. i’d be interested to hear what you think about this. i think that it’s not always “talking bad about yourself” when you speak on your flaws. it’s sometimes just talking about yourself, and admitting to your humanity, which i think comes from a place of confidence. like you don’t have to hide your flaws, and you can talk about them because you love yourself either way. it also fosters connection and growth to be discussing these darker parts with people- it may not be about seeking validation, but seeking growth
I believe you can be self aware without ragging on yourself. The world is already hard on every individual its nice to have a friend in you
Yes being open about things we struggle with brings deeper connection with others because we see we are not alone. I personally think it’s the energy you share it with if the energy is in a way that you are energetically putting yourself down vs sharing flaws with others to empower that they too can get out of there ✨ or to share things you are actually trying to find a solution for rather than just be a victim ♥️ I love that we can all share perspectives here! 🥰
Amazing advice Alexis ♥ there is so much power in just stopping complaining. i truly believe we breathe life into whatever we talk about and feed it in the energetic sense. so to not speak of that thing is to starve it of your precious energy.♥
The best approach is a humble approach I always speak “softly” not aggressively if I’m asking/discussing with people who have a higher rank than me ex: professor, manager, own etc.

Love this vid. I think young girls should learn that they have sexual boundaries. That they do not have to allow a boy/man to do whatever he desires to their body when they start having sex. That it is the woman's job to discipline the man around her body.
