I've been to cat cafes, both in my country and in Japan, but never a cat hotel where you can pick your favorite and spend the night together. I actually LOVE that they don't use the cats for profit, and actually take such good care of them right down to poo examination?! Also the place is very clean and so much safety protocols are in place.
As soon as I saw that they make guests clean the litter boxes I was actually super happy. That manual!! They actually really care about the cat's wellbeing. Unlike a lot of the animal cafes and themed places.
Oh my. This can be true. When I was travelling in Japan for 16 days, I suddenly missing my cat so I went to a cat cafe just because they have calicos that look like my cat 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that was not in my original itinerary so I didnt betray my cat haahha
I had a cat for nearly 16 years. Unfortunately, she passed away in January 2022. Having a cat at home is extremely fun and a really fulfilling life experience. Her name was Cléo and she had an important role in terms of emotional support and overall health of the family. Cats tend to keep you way more active than usual while also promoting some really good relaxing times. It's just the right amount of stimulation to pull you out of the bad mood of a bad day with their greetings and playfulness. As the bond with your cat gets stronger, you are going to develop a better communication with them and know new sides of their personality. At same time, the cat will learn about you and even adopt your routine and habits for them as well. It's a very interesting dynamic. Younger cats are super playful and active, but after they reach beyond half of their life expectancy, they do tend to be a bit less active. I guess it's only around their 10th year that you are going to observe the first signs of senility, like less focus, decreased mobility, worse sight and even a bit of hearing loss, but they will still play with you and tag along despite the extra difficulties. In the final years of their life it is you turn to take care of them, despite their will to still take care of you. Health problems like arthritis or kidney issues are very likely to occur and extra attention, veterinarian visits, new diet and even medication to treat these issues will be needed and these are not cheap nor optional. Even during these final moments, you are still learning more about your cat and strengthening these bonds. Your cat will really trust and count on you to keep going. Their departure is a tough moment, but you must be prepared for it, especially if they are suffering and not able to the basic physiological needs anymore. In some cases you may need to put them down in a painless way at vet, but sometimes they naturally pass away. Despite the sad end, it is a good experience in general, but just be prepared to take full responsibility for your cat and you'll be rewarded with some of the most awesome and relaxing moments of your life.

How cute they are 😍. Two opposites that complement each other: experienced laziness and inquisitive energy 🧡. It seems that the bed interested them more and stirred even the sloth. The best nights and mornings are when they are cats. This hotel is a corner of divine cuteness 😻.
If a café/hotel like this existed around here, I'd see myself taking all the cats to my room, sitting on the bed giggling madly and petting cats until morning ;-)
As someone who has a cat at home, this is what having a cat at home feels like half the time, the other half is finding out where all the scratches on your furniture came from and keeping the cat from destroying all your earthly possessions.

This really does inspire cat lovers like me to visit Japan a.k.a The Feline Paradise. Japan's style of being this well caring on an atomic scale gives out the best cat cafes, inns and hotels.
I wonder how healthy this is on the cats' mental health, having rotating people like this? Not to say they're abused. I definitely don't think that at all. They're clearly very healthy, and I like that these two are taken in a bonded pair so they have that stability, but I wonder if the cats suffer any issues from feeling a lack of stability. It's a little different when they get to sleep with humans, because that's an actual bonding, attachment cycle.

Котики просто чудо! Такие сладенькие! У меня дома 6 котиков живут! Всех забрала с улицы. Я живу в Украине и у нас есть плохие люди, которые даже выбрасывают котят на улицу. И на улице тоже живут кошки. Я их тоже кормлю уже больше 20 лет, лечу и стерилизую кошечек. Поэтому в этом году на моем участке, где я кормлю котиков их осталось мало. Но недавно подбросили кошечку молоденькую, она не даётся даже погладить себя. И возможно уже у неё будут котята. Котята часто болеют и не выживают. Ещё есть бродячие собаки, они могут задушить котят. Дома у меня тоже есть белый пушистый котик, ему 13 лет уде, младшему 6 месяцев. 5 котов и одна кошечка. Я их очень люблю всех!

What a wonderful hotel! It seems like you could have a very fun time there without going out. The cats were beautiful and those two white balls of fluff were super cute. You have to have a good disposition, though, to be the right cat for this job.

I think it's ok in the end. They know the hotel owner and the other cats. So the guests are just like extra people they meet.

Ive got 5 cats, all cat rescues. It is very theraputic to live w so many cats. Takes my mind away from the daily grind and puts me into a happy place all the time. PLZ adopt a cat from a rescue service 🙏🙏🙏

I lost my furbaby 3 yrs ago, miss him so much. While I adore kittens, my age makes a new kitten impossible as it could outlive me & that wouldn't be fair. And haven't found a senior feline yet.
