    Hello friends! Thank you for all the comments and the amazing support! And also thank you for all the feedback you have given me (whether it be positive or critical)! From your comments, I have found out that this video contains some errors and that I have missed some crucial things that should have been included, and I sincerely apologize for that. I thought I did my research properly but I clearly didn't and I'm really sorry about that, but thanks to you all commenting in this video, I now know that I need to research properly for my future videos. Despite everything, I still hope you have enjoyed this video! ^^ Thank you so much once again, and I'll see you in my next video! (and in the comments lol)

    One thing I love that I didn't see you mention with the 3DS version, is that when you enter an area from Hyrule Field, the time of day in the area matches the exact time of day as Hyrule Field, so you can see these places with actual sunsets and sunrises. I love the sunset in Kakariko Village. In the original Ocarina of Time, the game would choose to display either night or day depending on when you went somewhere. If it was sunset, it would directly be night, etc.

    9:09 the reason for this is because originally, the ending scenes lagged like hell due to all the NPCs present, so they had built the pacing of the cutscene with the lag in mind. Since the Wii/Wii U versions is more powerful... yea. The Gamecube versions end credits was actually converted into prerendered video format because of this issue, though i don't know why they didn't do that with the wii/wii u versions

    • @zilatheraibukage7198
      @zilatheraibukage7198 Год назад +4

      Really late, but I think it's because the Virtual Console it's just the original ROM, while in the GameCube it was a modified ROM specifically for the console

    • @lilorangefella
      @lilorangefella 8 месяцев назад +2

      A side effect of the GameCube version pre rendering the credits is that certain actions you did in game aren’t reflected in the credits, for example, the running man can wear the bunny hood in the credits if you gave it to him, but that won’t happen on GameCube.

    The only use of the ice arrows in Ocarina of Time is: You only need to shoot one hand of Bongo-Bongo to make him charge you with his eye. Yes, mind blowing! Why use two arrows if you can use a single arrow with magic?

    • @shadowledastray

      That's interesting, since the Medallion order suggests doing the Spirit Temple before Shadow anyways (with Training Ground being along the way).

    • @Koyu_Ruh
      @Koyu_Ruh 2 года назад +6

      @@shadowledastray Well yes, that does make sense, what doesn't make sense is that all arrow types deal the exact same amount of damage, regardless if magic was used or not. And since you can carry so many arrows but only have so much magic (let's be real, the 4 bottles are just going to be fairies anyway), the only time I really use any magic arrows is for Ganon. Buuuut still, there is this possibility, which is hinted towards by a shiekah stone saying "Bongo-Bongo doesn't like the cold" it's vague, it's useless, but it's a thing barely anyone knows because it's not useful after all.

    • @Koyu_Ruh
      @Koyu_Ruh 2 года назад

      @@cptnoremac Is that so? I can not recall that at all. I know for a fact that light arrows are a scam to use. They use a lot of magic, while doing no more than regular arrows except for the end of Ganon's trials and during the fight against Ganondorf. Are fire and ice arrows actually stronger? I can try that out. On 3DS, N64 and gamecube. (If only my memory card of the gamecube wasn't lost).

    • @cptnoremac
      @cptnoremac 2 года назад

      @@Koyu_Ruh Yeah, the wiki says fire and ice have 4 strength and regular and light have 2. For years I thought the light arrows were strong too. Seems a weird choice to make them no stronger than regular. Especially when silver arrows are insanely powerful in LttP and this seems like the closest equivalent.

    And another thing about the Link figures on the quest selection it that in the original quest file screen link holds the master sword in his left hand and in the Master Quest file screen he holds it in his right

    you forgot to mention the way link jumps. in the 64 and gamecube versions he jumps like a normal person would , by springing off the ball if his foot (the top part below the toes) but in the the 3ds version he awkwardly and unrealistically jumps by hiking both of his legs up almost doing a split in mid-air. personally I think it looks stupid. and you also forgot about adult zelda's dress being changed from pink (64 & gamecube) to purple (3ds). I think she looks better in pink.

    I had the gold cartridge Ocarina version. It's been a long time but I think in order to get it you had to pre order through Nintendo Power. I saw a thing not long ago that if you had the version I got and you never opened it, it sells easy 500+ on ebay. 🙃

    Zelda Ocarina of Time from Gamecube had both on Disc (Two-Game Bonus Disc with Master Quest) and on Promo Disc with 4 Games. Are the Ocarina of Time of these 2 Discs identical?
    Note: I'm not talking about the Master Quest.

    In the N64 and GameCube versions, there is a death counter that shows how many times the player died. The 3DS version does not have this.

    I love this game! Great breakdown of the differences of the many versions. Hopefully Nintendo will give us a full remake similar to how Final Fantasy 7 recently received. Then we will need a new differences video ;)

    So the correct you the chant audio is still used in all temples in versions 1.1-1.2 on all consoles. Mainly as backing vocals . It was never removed . An the 3ds remake reused alot of n64 assets . Making it a facelift with bad textures

    Not sure if you mentioned it and i missed it but the difference between the n64 and 3sd versions that irritates me the most is the way deku sticks have been nerfed. Cant one shot the miniboss in jabu jabu anymore!

      If deku sticks where unbreakable I'd agree and consider it cheating as it would make the kokiri sword pointless, but deku sticks break after a single hit and you can only carry a limited amount of them.
      I think thats a fair trade for a more powerful strike.

    Huh, I didn’t know about the Boss Gauntlet thing! I thought the boss rematch was just to de-rust your skills after not playing for a while, so I brushed it off.
    I’ve beaten Master Quest several times on a 3 heart, no bottle run. I should check out the Master Gauntlet! Lol
