Hey Josh, Just today I'm starting the wiring to put in the main ceiling system for my 20 x 20 Shed, it has 10 1/2 foot height in a Hip roof. I have also chosen LED 5000k fixtures. The scheme in my shop will be to construct a flat center ceiling dropped about 5" that will be 84" square. On that I will mount four 16" round 4700 lumen fixtures. One in each corner which will produce 18,800 lumens or 47lm per s/f. That level is about the same as an operating room. I'll also have 6" round LED surface mount fixtures over each bench tool . This is all an experiment but your install of LED's (5000k) gives me great expectation that mine will be pretty good. I also will have white melamine walls and a white drywall ceiling. Optics should be helped. I've been a while working on the shell of the shop, a raised floor structure with Dust collection duct run under the floor. It's completed now with just the entrance deck and stairs to the main deck to be done.
That’s a huge upgrade to the lighting! Went from an old shop feel to modern workspace very quickly. Nice job
Couldn’t agree more! Excited to start moving everything in.

Glad to hear you’ve made so much progress! I’ll be getting the lighting into my new shop pretty soon here as well!
Keep me posted!
Very nice!
5 stars from my side.
Thanks! I do love these lights!
@@NorthwestCraftsman Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I really appreciate it!
Absolutely!
Are 36,000 lumen headlights bright
Quite! The only problem I have with them is shadowing since the light is only coming from a single source as opposed to multiple.
