Girl, that serger tip is worth its weight in gold! I’m definitely going to do it for my next quilt. Thanks also for embroidery lesson as well for the quilt label.

Good job. The label is so pretty. I don't usually stitch out an initial design. I just create my frame/border, add the words inside it, note the size of my design, and cut out a strip of fabric that will accomodate it. I make sure it is within a particular size and instead of the pocket, I use a slip stitch to close it up. Diagonal labels are my favourite too.

Hi Tammi! That label looks really nice. I really like doing the serged stitching around the edges before attaching the binding. I am going to use that great idea on mine. ❤

Hey Tammy my friend 🥰. Thank you & I hope you and your family are well. I’m happy to inspire another technique for you to try on your projects. I’m making a AccuQuilt pattern translation video that will be published next Thursday. I’ll be converting a pattern from the 5,500 Quilt Block Designs book you recommended 😉. I’ll see you in that video 👋🏽😊

@@TalohaStudios Awesome, I can’t wait to see it. This week was heck-tic. New grandson arrived Thursday night and they went home today. I’m so proud of my son he went totally through delivery with his wife. My son did make my Clapper and even put a handle on it for me. Works perfectly. So glad you like the 5500 block book. I really like mine. I hope you are doing well and can’t wait to see what you have in store for next Thursday. 🥰

Love the video! What do you have on the hoop that you tape the fabric onto?

What is this commercial Baran that you spoke of? I also have a Stellaire and I have never been able to get My Design Snap to work properly. Calling customer support has not been helpful. I’d love any tips that you have. It’s nice to have someone giving more attention to the Stellaire.

I have a Barudan Elite Pro. If you’re considering a commercial machine check out my girl Angela Jasmina here on RUclips, she has several Melco machines which I recommend as well. Glad to meet another Stellaire owner😊 I’ve had trouble with the My Design Snap app as well. Here’s what worked for me😊: 1. Delete the app, 2. Make sure your phone has the latest update version, 3. Re download the app, 4. Make sure you have a strong WiFi connection between your phone and the your internet router. My problem was my WiFi was weak in the room where I use my machine. I got a WiFi extender and it totally fixed it! The key is the connection between your phone & WiFi has to be strong, otherwise it lags and won’t scan your hoop without timing out. I hope this helps😊. I’ll see you in the next video 👋🏽

Just thinking out loud...what if you made the label just a smidge bigger, used a washable adhesive to adher it down and serged it on at the same time as you squared up your quilt?

Wonderful idea! 💡 I didn’t even think of that. You could absolutely include serging the label on at the same time the quilt is being squared up!!😊. I’m going to do that on my next project. Thanks for sharing this time saving hack 👍🏽. I appreciate your creativity, I’ll see you in the next video 🥰👋🏽
