I've still got every Pantera album made (including Metal Magic 😆) but Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar Display of Power will always be my favourites. Walk, This Love, 5 Minutes Alone, I'm Broken, Cemetery Gates, Planet Caravan etc.... awesome 👌🏻👌🏻🤘🏻

Yep. Mine too. Except my favorite track was always Throes of Rejection. Seems like that song doesn’t typically get as much light, but I think it’s some of the best musicality the band has ever brought. Probably my favorite Dimebag solo.
Besides cemetery gates and this love you mentioned my least favorite songs. Most of their singles are their worst songs by far

Oh thanks, I'll look into it abit more, went to a Pantera show here in Montreal back in 92, it was in a smaller arena than Metallica played but the show was still amazing, my buddy caught one of Dimebags picks thrown

I believe it had to end that way. Vinnie did the right thing and said the right things as well. You just cant blame a mentally ill fan for his death. Phil was mad because the Abbotts wouldnt let him back in unless Phil stopped with the drug use so things got heated from there.

9:02 the whole part about the song is kind of sad, it was the beginning of another addiction and he knew it and tried to stay away but he couldn’t and was also the beginning of the end :( , but i liked that they shared a laugh :’) i fucking love that song.

Yea, and he wasn't talking as much as he used to. He was kinda thinking a lot more, like staring at the floor,you can see there was something different. It saddens me how much drugs destroyed him for so many years, now he's back on track, but we still lost Pantera:(
He wasn’t doing heroin at this point I believe. Around the release of Far Beyond Driven, Phil got the results of second MRI scan which showed that two of his spine disks are ruptured and he started taking muscle relaxers and pain meds which later grew into abnormal amounts of pain killers and then heroin in the end.

Nobody started heroin because of pains, that's just an excuse. There are doctors that would've prescribed pain pills that were cheaper and legal to obtain.
How do I know? Because my back hurt at one time.
pigGRAY now it’s impossible to get painkillers they are heavily monitored and if you can’t find a drug dealer that sells them it’s expensive and once you get to the point when you start taking 10 a day it’s no matter what cheaper to use herion at the start.

People think "oh it's legal", "a doctor gave it to me", that makes it ok. They start with pills then move on to something stronger, heroin.

His liver was failing. He was retaining water weight. Chances are that even if that tragic moment on stage never happened, he'd wouldve been gone within a year or 2 because of his liver
