During “Rise of the snakes”, Cole’s father owns a trophy made with a Silver fang blade that was found by Clutch Powers.
He’s also a side character in seasons 11 and 14

I’m glad someone actually talks about how great this movie is. I love those two skeletons far too much, they make me laugh so hard even to this day, and this movie is something I remember very largely from my childhood.

I watched clutch powers around 2016 and has the disc on DVD, so it’s only been 6 years after its release.
I’m sad that I didn’t watch it earlier.
Fun Fact: The scientist’s name, A. Fol, is a reference to the acronym A.F.O.L. which means Adult Fan of LEGO. (something I never noticed till a recent rewatch.)

@@Puki9117 The character’s name was said in the movie. The acronym is fairly widely used in the LEGO community, (its origins trace back to a LEGO internet forum circa 1995.) There’s no explicit proof the writers named A. Fol as a reference to the acronym, but it seems to be the case. Clutch’s name is also a reference to LEGO terminology. Early designs of the LEGO brick didn’t stay together very well. With the addition of the tubes in the bottom of a LEGO brick, it gave them “clutch power,” which is a term used by LEGO designers. Because of this, Clutch Powers was named. So if the writers are naming characters after LEGO community in-jokes, it seems pretty plausible that A. Fol was a reference to the community acronym.

You have reminded me on memory’s I dint know existed clutch powers was the best lego movie but I forgot all about it this is so nostalgic for me
I saw this when I was REALLY young and I have shit memory, but every movie that I watched as a kid and really enjoyed stayed with me for some reason (HTTYD, Shrek, rise of the guardians..). I have tiny little bits of memories from this movie and could not for the life of me remmember it's name. I thought maybe my brain was playing tricks and fused some random memorys and imagination to fool me but I wasn't convied. It was just itching at the back of my brain. Today I finnaly said enough and went through the lego movie wikipedia list, i didn't even recognise the name but i started watching this video and shat my pants, cus i wasn't even sure if it existed. The feeling isn't even nostalgia it's just shock, I am probably going to rewatch this.
I remember watching this after my parents argued and was so entertained and distracted with how cool it was. I will never forget that.

Yeah, I knew Clutch before the lego movie, and was kind of hoping he'd be in it. Now, that didn't happen sadly, but after wards, I just wondered how cool it would have been if Clutch, his team, his mad skills, and Clutch powers made a stand in the Lego movie. But, they didn't, dare I say, no one did. Not the ninjas, not the hero factory, not the toa, not the masters of chi, the list goes on, which is why I didn't like the movie that much as a lego fan.
