- Probably the most heavily-hyped game in Harlem Globetrotters history is also the first Globetrotters game televised on ESPN, as they play the Washington Nationals for their 20,000th game. Sam Smith and Reggie Theus are on the call for ESPN Basketball. The Globetrotters are headlined by "Showbiz" Jackson, Curly "Boo" Johnson, "Showtime" Gaffney, and Michael "Wild Thing" Wilson.
**Up until recently, I've been downloading my personal VHS collection. However, the collection is obviously limited. I started a Patreon page to better find and purchase old VHS videos on EBAY and other websites, as well as at garage sales and other locations that might have VHS available, so I can upload them for all to see and share for free. Happy Harlem Globetrotters Day 🏀🔴⚪🔵🌏🌍🗺️
Thanks so much for posting this, I was actually at this game! Such a fun, entertaining time and the crowd was straight up electric the entire night. I was only 12 years old at the time but I vividly remember the atmosphere and the excitement surrounding it. Tri-County High School is not far away from where I grew up.
That's awesome tri county high school isn't to far from your house
I went to highschool there. I was a sophomore LoL.
1976 patinoire des Vernets Genève (Switzerland) Maman nous a offert ce magnifique spectacle de pouvoir admirer ces grands champions de basket-ball américains, quel spectacle, impossible de tout voir tellement le spectacle était grandiose. Can you post some Globetrotter games when they played college teams? Some of those games were televised on ESPN or ESPN 2. Can you find any?
I tapped the one in 2002 vs Maryland when they had Steve Blake. Lost the VHS tho. Still mad till this day that I can't find it.
I agree with you
