    They say "melted ice", because it was recently ice that melted (obviously). Water isn't only formed from ice melting. They were being specific.

    When I wrote that I was just thinking about the most popular sources of electricity would only make it spin faster. Rising temperatures because of all the dead dinosaurs we're burning = more melting = faster rotation = more electricity. I stand by my incredibly stupid initial statement with the dignity of a drowning seal.

      Allot of force behind it, thinking about it one could attach a high tension gear of sorts to use the down movement to create energy. I think 😂

  • @benjaminweiser3243
    @benjaminweiser3243 12 лет назад

    As in global warming causes this, and the vast use of electricity and all it allows causes global warming, so using this to generate electricity would be ironic because it would produce just what's causing it to happen in the first place.

    • @matttownsend7119
      @matttownsend7119 3 месяца назад

      The energy produced is not the problem - it is the fossil fuel emissions generated by energy production that caust the warming. Once we have renewables (esp Solar, Wind and Wave) then energy production can proceed without causing damage to the environment.
