While I still love step, probably always will prefer it to other cardio’s, I’ve been changed to love the sweat from a good strength work out more. It’s been fun to physically “level up” and see what challenges my body is built to over come. I hope you come to the northeast someday so I can join the group events ❤

Loved this Saturday morning step that I did on Sunday afternoon. I am not able to use a step because of knee problems but I enjoy the step workouts anyway. Two years ago I moved from Cleveland to a very rural area of Ohio. Missed my gym terribly. Also had a knee replacement shortly after moving. I found your channel when I was looking for low impact aerobics to get back in shape after the move and my surgery,. At first, I picked and chose which workouts to do. After listening to you preaching your gospel for about a year, I got more with the program and try to do the daily workouts as much as possible. I cannot do everything that you and your guests do, but I modify and take breaks when needed. I challenge myself to do more than I think that I can. I am now using my 15 pound weights regularly when I never used them before. I love you and your channel: I love your positivity and personality, your emphasis on health instead of looks, the silliness, the mistakes, the dogs running in and out. I especially love the guests. It all makes you seem very real and creates the feeling of being part of a community. So excited that you are coming to my hometown of Cleveland. Even though I don't live there anymore, I will be there on the 23rd on a little square of floor with my imaginary step. Please keep doing what you do - it makes a big difference!

This was my favorite step so far! Andy Gibb! 💕 (And yes, I had his poster in 5th grade.) I even liked Louie’s barking. Reminded me that even the pro trainers are real people. :)
After taking a number of years off from stepping and 2 joint replacements, I started Step again with you in February. I took it class by class, day by day and although often frustrated and discouraged by slow progress and having to start over, I trusted in the process, pushed myself on the beginner classes and persevered through the intermediate and advanced. Progress was slow and steady, but the 60 minute classes were still killing me. I always stopped early and waited for the cool-down. We had company last night until 1:30 AM and there may have been liquid refreshments involved, so I wasn't the most enthused participant this morning but forced myself out of bed and to my Step. What the what!? I made the entire 60 minutes with nary a mistake. It truly was a turning point for me. If you had told me in February that I'd be back at this level and actually comfortable with more advanced moves I don't think I would have believed it. You're encouragement, relaxed style and classes at every level are just the best.

One of my favorite things about working out with Chris is her lectures. She educates you while you're having fun! I struggled with the concept of food for years. I finally get the concept of refueling your body and giving yourself a treat. Working out and pumping iron is so important but it doesn't help you change your body or mind if you don't put the proper nutrients in your body. All the kids on here that decide to make the change to move your body remember to love the inside too. The first proper thing to do is stay away from package food. Get whole food and proteins. You would be amazed❤❤❤❤

I started working out with Chris during the second trimester of my second pregnancy. I started doing daily step to stay active and healthy during my pregnancy and to keep from gaining excessive amounts of weight. After giving birth and taking four months off to rest and recover, I started doing strength training. I'm really impatient and I wanted to get back into shape and see results right away. I was really hard on myself and frustrated with the process, but I stuck with Chris' program, doing strength training 3 to 4 times a week and cardio the other days. I will never get back to my pre baby body, and that's ok. We just celebrated my baby's first birthday and I am stronger than ever. Thank you Chris for helping me stay active and healthy and for making me feel confident in my body again! I love doing your workouts every day.
Love the choreo. Also, I am VERY glad you don't break down each move. When that happens it's make the workout slow and heart rate low. This was simple enough I picked everything up right away.
