I love to watch Viktor play, such grace for a man his size. Plus he is a good entertainer for the crowd as well, he is a good ambassador for badminton. Brian did pretty well, I don't think Viktor was cutting him too much slack! Cheers, jc
@@celinenakouzi9163 No way! Viktor Axelsen? You mean this guy? He only started playing professionally this year stop joking around, dude's only 18 year old he got a bright future ahead. Although I get the feeling this guy might win an olympic gold
Brian is getting good man. 24-26 against lee zi jia, took kidami to three sets, 19-21 against chou tien, 20-22 18-21 against shi yu qi. I feel hes gonna be a strong contender in the next year
Maybe if he fixes his swing... His body is too stiff and his swing happens through arm movement mostly. Victor on the other hand is much looser. He is able to generate power and speed through his entire kinetic chain. He is able to bend his body like a bow and rotate his trunk through his swing, giving him more racket speed. If Brian wants to transcend to the next level, he should hope to revamp his technique. This will be difficult though since he's already been training for years.
You can tell there is a big difference in technique and power efficiency between them. Brian's body remains stiffer, and he swings a lot with his arm. Victor on the other hand is loose, and generates a lot of his power through his entire kinetic chain. He can bend his body like a bow, and rotate his trunk to give more speed to his racket swing. I guess that's only one reason why Victor is one of the top players in the world!
"Markham Center, Canada? Was that not the place, that hosted the World Junior's Championships badminton a few years back? I recall Danish Line Christophersen winning silver that year. Lost the final vs Goh Jin Wei ( Malaysia).
I loved your video! Would it be okay if I re-edit it into a highlight and use it, with proper attribution to your channel, to promote your work? Thank you!
