Marty, I will sell my soul to you if you teach how to play Meth Lab Zoso Sticker by 7Horse, there aren’t any videos on RUclips that do it the way you do
Fun fact about this song (although it may be a bit off): When they were recording this song, they had a pizza delivered. They played it for the delivery man and he said it needed piano and played on it for them, it actually worked with the song and they decided to keep it, long after he left. So when they needed to credit him they had to call all the pizza joints around the area looking for him because they didn’t get his name!
It was Norman Durkee who played piano on Takin' care of business . It's one of the 'tales' that Randy Bachman often tells on Canadian Radio! You can listen to "Bachman & Bachman" every friday night, here on You-Tube! Look for "Bachman & Bachman". They have done 45 shows in this pandemic times, until now! And every show is fantastic! One hour 'unplugged live music' from two brilliant musicians! Direct from their home-studio. Bringing a lot of fantastic music! ( ... not only Guess Who or BTO , ... ! ) Next show will be 'electric', as Mr. Bachman told so! - Go for it! - You will be surprised! -
1 year ago I would have had to take an hour to get this done. Because of your platform and everything you've done I've got this done by the end of the video without pausing Thanx man!
Awesome that your videos are still going strong. You were one of the OG Channels that I used when I started learning 5 years ago, currently learning the tornado of souls solo now. If you are a new guitar player, don't give up. Everything will come with time if you put your heart into it
Thanks Marty! This is the right lesson at the right time of my music journey. I appreciate you adding the theory/structure of the song in with the lesson instead of the good ol' vague references like "play this string here". "C-Bb-F (I-IIV-V) progression layered with C7-F7 and some Bb-F pentatonic riffs" guidance makes us musicians rather than just players. Gotta say my buddy and I got a hold of the BTO 2 album when it came out (7th grade-1974) and just ran with it. Brings back good memories!
I love music all kinds.so I have tried to learn to play guitar different times in my life and got frustrated. I always kept a guitar in my living room and finally I looked at it and said I got to be smarter than this guitar. So I got on RUclips and by a blessing from God you come up. That was Christmas 2020 2 months later I can play wish you were here intro ,solo and the rest . Not perfect yet still working on cord changes. Now my wife has got her one, her whole family is talented in music so she doing great also If not for you that guitar would still be sitting lonely with no sound coming from it . I am going to pay for you lessons that you have online now so I can keep getting better. You said if there is any songs we would like for you to teach well I have a request. CLOSER TO THE SON BY ( SLIGHTLY STOOPID . Thanks again so much. Iam 56 my goal is to be the Greatest Guitar player to start as late as I have 😜 . Thank You So Much For Making learning to play possible for the ones that are hard to teach . And I do like you say I play every single day and repeat all I have learned.
Dude has been teaching me licks for 15 years lol I can read music and play by ear and key I have played my whole life and have lots of way to learn new tunes but this feels like home 😎👍
Excellent! I already can play the guitar and bass parts, bought the "drums only" mp3. and record this playing all instruments on 6 tracks. Not a singer, but added a vocal track, as well. No keys in my version. Your lesson improved my leads to this.
Hey Marty, Happy Friday. I can't tell you how many times I go looking for a song and BOOM, Marty provides! This one is a beauty. Thanks so much for the incredible contributions you regularly make to my life! Seriously Dude!
Krazy Thing called Luv,, Marty.. Kool lesson Marty, reminds me of an acid trip I was on around Christmas back in the 70's !! Thanks !!! Waiting on my looper.
Oh yeah, that tune is the epitome of cool R&R! I gotta say that I've been impressed with your Katana and how it handles the variety of songs you play through it. Great video and lesson, as always!
Sounds better using double-stops. And all three chords are played like the first chord (that is that famous rocking "step" which only this song used at the time). The F is the higher version on the 8th fret (but yes the base F can be used depending on how many guitarists you have). There's another video of Randy Bachman in RUclips live and he makes mistake after mistake ... that's what happens when you get old and don't care anymore (like me). Thanks Marty!
outstanding job I have been playing for a long time you are very talented and make it simple , people who make it difficult the students quit god bless and keep up the great work
Marty your intro of u playing that song my brother started singing along to u playing. Your such a great man i hope u have a great day keep up the great work
Awesome that you just added this one I just got asked to play this at the 25th annual rock 4 Xmas finale this year ...so I need to practice practice practice this! ❤️🤘🏻🎸
Geez Marty, if only you know how many songs you've taught me. Your style fits perfect for me. Many thanks, really! kinda feel like were friends. Probly would be if we ever met. Peace
HEYYY MARTY it would really mean the world to me if you can do a guitar lesson on “is it any wonder “ by Durand Jones and the indications!!!! Please !!!
I try Sleeping Sun by Nightwish for a while now and I can't get the right notes. Could you show us that song? ( with solo, please) Oh! And thanks! Your Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb vids are helping me a LOT!
Thanks for the tutorials Marty But we need a black magic woman part 2 I wanna learn the whole song and it seems like not many people teach it And who other to teach it than our very own Marty 🤌🤌🤌
Hi Marty, love what you do. Would you please do a video on an old favourite of mine "Cowboy Song" by Faith No More? Would make me very happy. Cheers bud

I heard that pizza guy went on to be the music director for Bette Midler.

What an actually fucking awesome story lol could you imagine!?
@@rayross997 maybe that was the young Edward Van Halen
The riff alone truly exemplifies that classic blues rock feel to me. Appreciate another lesson!
This man has no idea how many students he actually has!!!! Thanks for another great one Marty!!! 👍

Great video and lesson, as always!
Thank you for that tasty lead at the beginning! Always enjoy watching you play - and always learn something new.
